🎡🎉 End of Summer Carnival Party! 🎉🎡

Send your pup off with a bang before summer wraps up! Drop your dog off at Train-n-Play on Tuesday, August 26th for a day full of carnival-themed fun at daycare! 🎈🐶

The PPK9 Scent Team hit the road this weekend and made the trip out to Long Island for some AKC Scent Work - and they absolutely crushed it! 🐾🎉

Our talented teams worked their noses off and brought home a huge pile of ribbons!! We couldn’t be prouder of the awesome teamwork, focus, and dedication that went into every search.

Here’s everyone’s individual accomplishments:

🏅 Whylee had a PERFECT weekend, qualifying in 16/16 searches earning a 1st place, a 2nd place, a 3rd place, six 4th place ribbons, 4 Novice Elite titles and his Overall Novice Elite (meaning he now has over 40 Novice Q's)!

🏅 Phoenix qualified in 15 out of 16 searches, earning six 1st place ribbons, two 2nd place ribbons, one 3rd place, two 4th place ribbons, 4 Novice Element titles and his Overall Novice Title in only THREE weekends!!

🏅 Wicked qualified in 8 searches earning one 1st place, one 2nd place, two 3rd place ribbons, his Excellent Containers titles and his Overall Excellent Title!

🏅 Arson qualified in 9 searches during his first try in the Advanced level earning one 1st place, two 4th place ribbons and his Advanced Containers Title (at 9 months old)! This is only his THIRD weekend ever competing!

🏅 Wanda qualified in 11 searches earning two 1st place ribbons, three 3rd place ribbons, two 4th place ribbons and is almost finished with her Advanced Elite Title!

🏅 Zoey (not pictured) qualified in 13 searches earning three 2nd places, four 3rd places, two 4th places, 4 Novice Element titles and her Overall Novice Title in only THREE weekends!!

🏅 Peach (not pictured) earned her Excellent Interior title and her Overall Excellent Title (amongst other things that I can't remember)!

🏅 Joy (not pictured) earned two 3rd place ribbons and 3 Novice Element Titles (at 9 months old)! This is only her THIRD weekend ever competing!

After 14 amazing years, we said goodbye to our longtime agility trainer Erin today. Her dedication, passion, and impact on our community have been immeasurable.

Our classes celebrated her this week the best way we know how — with food, desserts, and lots of love. A small way to say thank you for everything she’s poured into our teams over the years.

Thank you for helping shape so many teams and for being such a big part of our journey. We wish you all the best in this next chapter — you’ll always be part of our agility family.

Agility training will continue as normal with our new instructors, Meghan, Katie, and Sarah — bios coming soon!

🚨 Heat Alert for Tuesday! ☀️🐶

Tuesday is looking extremely hot, and while we’ll be open for our normal daycare and boarding hours, we wanted to share a quick note with our daycare families.

Our facility is fully equipped with indoor play areas, AC, and lots of ways to keep the dogs safe and cool - but if you don’t need to bring your dog to daycare, we kindly ask that you consider letting them stay home in the comfort of your air conditioning.

💬 Rest assured, if your pup does come, they’ll be safe and well cared for. We’re just hoping to lighten the load a bit for our staff and reduce the number of panting pups warming up the building. As much fun as daycare is, sometimes chilling at home in the AC is the better option than running with friends when the temperature is this extreme.

🐾 We’ll still honor your package days if you choose to skip - it won’t count against you.

Thanks for your understanding and for helping us keep everyone cool and comfortable this week! 💛
