The Bushido Mastiff is the progression of Loyal Guard Kennels bandog program. If you go to the Loyal Guard kennels website you will see my initial dream of the bandog was not as refined as my dream for the Bushido Mastiff has become. Time and experience have shown and taught me alot about what it is I am doing. I am not creating another run of the mill hybrid bandog I am devoting myself to the creation of a true mastiff bred for combat with his best friend, you at his side.
A true bred Bushido Mastiff is excellent as a guard or sentry dog and even social enough(if trained correctly) for personal protection and executive protection or as a Law Enforcement patrol dog. I expect them to be capable of operating in packs as a group, wether this is a pack of dogs or their human pack...
Why the Name "Bushido" cuz it embodies the core of what I value, read below.
definition
Bu•shi•do (ˈbu ʃiˌdoʊ)
n.
(often l.c.) the code of the samurai in feudal Japan, stressing loyalty and obedience and valuing honor above life.
[1895–1900; < Japanese bushidō=bushi warrior + dō way]
Best story of Bushido applied is the story of the 47 Ronin
The revenge of the Forty-seven Ronin (四十七士 Shi-jū-shichi-shi?, forty-seven samurai) took place in Japan at the start of the 18th century. One noted Japanese scholar described the tale, the most famous example of the samurai code of honor, bushidō, as the country's "national legend."[1]
The story tells of a group of samurai who were left leaderless (becoming ronin) after their daimyo (feudal lord) Asano Naganori was compelled to commit seppuku (ritual su***de) for assaulting a court official named Kira Yoshinaka, whose title was Kōzuke no suke. The ronin avenged their master's honor by killing Kira, after waiting and planning for almost two years. In turn, the ronin were themselves obliged to commit seppuku for committing the crime of murder. With much embellishment, this true story was popularized in Japanese culture as emblematic of the loyalty, sacrifice, persistence, and honor that people should preserve in their daily lives.
