Eye are open and they are so sweet!
These last two weeks have been hard here on our little farm. Our kidding season has not gone how we hoped. We have had 5 goats deliver and out of those 9 babies, one. One full term baby made it. The rest were still born and premature. Our hearts are super heavy these last two weeks. But this sweet little girl has made things a little lighter. Her mama is Sprinkles. One of our original goats. She has had two babies now. Steven (our first ever kid on the farm, if you scroll back enough you can see baby steven) and (drumroll) Hopie. We have every faith she will continue to thrive but we have taken extra precauciones to ensure mama has everything she needs to keep this little lady happy, healthy and strong. Please enjoy Miss Hopie striking a pose. And send us your good vibes as we continue on with our kidding season.
We are so blessed to be part of this beautiful production year after year. Thank you for having us again @hclchurch

I would say all and all a great weekend!
Its been a wet, cold winter so far. The animals are definitely enjoying the not wet and not cold days we have been having. Also giving us a chance to get some spring clean up done too!
This past weekend has been long and hard. And cold. Everyone is doing great. Small hoof stock are hiding in their shelter. While our savage, warrior ponies play in the snow. I would like to take a moment and send a huge shout out to my husband who has been diligent in the care of all our animals over these last few very cold days. Stay warm friends!
