I want to let all of our Blue Ridge Family know that my dad, Jack, passed away this past Thursday. He has enjoyed meeting and chatting with all of you over the years and loved getting to know all of our sweet guests.

Ok cat lovers and friends I
have a few requests this morning. I have a friend who is looking for barn homes for cats from a colony she has cared for for years. All cats are s/n adults who through no fault of their own need to be relocated from their long time location due to their food attracting buzzards and the property owner is no longer willing to work with their care taker on a solution to keep them on the property. Some have found barn homes but we need more. I know this is a big ask and stressful situation. Their care taker has been working on rehoming and options for some time now. So please share my post and let's see what we can come up with.
I am also collecting canned and dry food to help out if anyone would like to donate. Any 4H, school, community or scout group who would like to do a food drive are also welcomed.
