***Edit to add owner came & reclaimed the dogs & then turned around to surrender the 12 year old German Shephard 😢

These two stayed the night on a neighbors porch on HWY 44 & were still there this morning so we came & picked them up. Unsure if these two were already house mates or if they found each other while on the run ; Very friendly & seem well cared for. We are so happy to say with the AMAZING help of the public we have secured 3 week lost Loki & he is on his way to the Humane Society of the Black Hills to have their vet check him out. 3 weeks on the run can be rough

Animal Control Assistant Ernie is excited to announce that the low cost rabies clinic will be held on May 3rd. This event will take place at the Belle Fourche Veterinary Clinic which is located at 406 Summit St from 8am-12pm. Cats & dogs will be able to receive their rabies vaccination for $7 per animal. This is a cash only event. Clint and volunteers will be on site to issues city of Belle Fourche dog licenses free of charge during this event. Please have all cats in an enclosed carrier and have all dogs on a leash at all times. We look forward to seeing pet owners on May 3rd.
