Figured this is information worth sharing again!And this is why I only worm all animals during a full cycle now!!! If you use an herbal dewormer, start 10 days before the full moon. Chemical dewormers, I generally do 1-3 days before the moon is its fullest. Myself, a couple times a year.

Serotonin levels increase during a full moon. The parasites are extremely active during this time, moving, reproducing, and feeding on serotonin. Worms that are detached from the intestinal wall are easier to flush out versus when they are attached. The full moons bring out the crazies, worms included…both humans and animals. And if you think you don’t have worms, I am sorry, you do. 😉
