Kaia Update:
I got to spend the weekend in MN working with Kaia. This would be her third session and so much has changed. She is square through her body and standing in a “wider” stance behind than she has ( no more elephant on a ball). Her neck and poll have loosened and she is moving forward through her body while riding instead of holding her breath and locking up to leg pressure.

This is Kaia, a 4 year old quarter horse mare specializing in western pleasure. Kaia had most of the summer off and is now getting back into show shape. She is about 14’3 and a little down hill. Due to previous training techniques and poor saddle fit her withers have been compressed and “pushed down” causing shoulder and front feet pain. These set of pictures I took during her first session with me. She starts out standing like an elephant of a ball trying to relieve the shoulder and wither discomfort, by the end of the session she was standing comfortably square through her body and ready to ride!

This sweet boy is Mac. He is a 8 year old Bull Mastiff that has had hip surgeries and some complications with that along with some nasty arthritis pain. He had his first session Saturday afternoon. I just got a message from his mom (owner) Kim that he was able to squat low to ground to p**p, which he has been struggling to do! Super happy he is feeling more comfortable!
