Thanks to some great work from the community this baby was returned to her real owners.

This sweet girl was dumped on Elm Street tonight. She is scared, heartbroken, and completely abandoned. 💔

Chickens Running at Large

We continue to receive complaints regarding chickens entering public roadways. Please be advised that the Town has an ordinance in place prohibiting this. While I am always willing to assist in returning a chicken to its owner’s property, it remains the responsibility of the owner to properly contain their animals.

On occasion, I may simply usher the chicken back onto the property; however, if the situation becomes habitual and it is evident that no corrective action has been taken by the owner, it will be considered a violation of the ordinance. At that point, the matter is subject to enforcement, including the issuance of a citation.
These ordinances were established in 2008

Section 146 Estray and Other Livestock

(a) it is unlawful for any owner or person in control of any horse, mule, jack, jennet, cattle, hog, goat, sheep (estray) to permit any such animal to run at large on land not his own or under his control, or on any street, alley, or other public place in the City.

(b) it is unlawful for the owner or person in control of any chicken or other fowl to permit the same to run at large on any land not his own or under his control, or on any street, alley or other public place in the City.

(c) it is unlawful and constitutes a nuisance for the owner or any person in charge or control of any pigeons in the Coty or the owner or any person in charge or control of any out building or barn in the City upon which pigeons nest, to allow such pigeons to run or fly at large in the City.

Freya’s mighty little warriors have awakened to the world! Their eyes now shine bright like northern stars, and their tiny paws are already venturing forth on brave explorations. 🌌✨

Gersemi, Harold, and Ivar — fierce in spirit though still small in size. Each day they grow stronger, learning the ways of this new realm. And at their side stands Freya, a proud shield-mother watching over her brood with the heart of a goddess. 💙

✨ Freya & Her Little Gods Update ✨
Our brave mama Freya continues to pour her heart into her tiny warriors. We had to say goodbye to sweet Bjorn 💔, but his spirit runs wild in the strength of his siblings — Harold, Ivar, and little Gersemi — who are thriving under their mother’s watchful gaze.

Their eyes are still closed, but soon they’ll open to a world filled with wonder, adventure, and endless love. Freya remains the picture of devotion — a true goddess guarding her precious clan. 🌿💫

Puppies are born with their ear canals closed, meaning they are essentially deaf at birth. The ear canals typically open between two and three weeks of age

Thanks to our amazing donation fund (and the big-hearted folks behind it), the pups and I can now wash, rinse, and repeat in style.

Larry & Jimmy came to the rescue like the ultimate sink dream team — and Larry? He worked his plumbing magic like a pipe maestro. Now we’re fully hooked up and living the clean life!
