Our pet care services include Midday Dog Walking, Pet Sitting Visits, and more! These Midday Dog Walking visits include walking all your dogs, feeding (if required), changing water, medicating (if required), picking up in backyard, and TLC to all dogs! Pet Sitting visits include the same, plus scooping all litter boxes and caring for any and all of your pets. We spend a lot of time with your pet d

uring our visit and tend to everything from playing fetch to giving them necessary medication. We go above and beyond by making sure your home is well taken care of also. We’ll take out the trash, bring in mail/newspaper, turn lights on/off, close drapes, and water plants! We have experience in caring for all breeds of dogs, cats, birds, small caged animals, and reptiles. We are fully insured, bonded, Pet CPR and First Aid trained, able to take care of all medications, including Subcutaneous Fluids, andI Insulin Injections. We want to be your first call whenever you’re out of the house regularly to work and your dog, or any pet needs a Daily Midday visit, or you are going away on a vacation or business trip. You said it right!!!! Responsible dog owners have gone by the wayside it seems. I am overjoyed when a client of mine gets a new puppy, or even better, an adult dog that came from the shelter or rescue. I'm sick of the doodle craze. They are just another mutt to me, not a status symbol.

On Sunday we picked up two 4 month old puppies. They were on the kill list at a local shelter. 4 MONTH OLD PUPPIES on the kill list. That’s how you know we are in a full blown CRISIS!
Rescues can’t keep up. And Rescues are tired.
Our fosters are tired of balancing 3 and 4 fosters at a time because the shelters are full and killing for space.
And we’re sure a lot of you are tired of us begging for donations,, begging for fosters and begging for adopters.
We are tired of seeing 4 month old puppies on the kill list because someone decided to buy a doodle.
We’re tired of seeing pregnant dogs dumped at the shelter because someone couldn’t be bothered to spay or neuter.
We’re tired of seeing boxes of puppies and kittens being dumped on the side of the road.
We’re tired of seeing frail seniors having to spend their final days in a concrete kennel because their owners couldn’t do the right thing.
We’re tired of dogs being returned for jumping or pulling on leash because their humans didn’t bother to get them trained.
We’re tired of seeing dogs dumped because someone moved and didn’t make appropriate accommodations. We’re tired of seeing loyal companions, turned loose, or brought to an overcrowded shelter because their human couldn’t be responsible. We are tired of seeing puppies being sold or given away on Skidrow and Craigs list because someone had an “oops”
litter.
AND we’re tired of animal control NOT doing their job and enforcing the current spay neuter laws.
And mostly, we are tired of looking into so many faces with hopeful eyes who we know will die because we are all full.
When we started LLR, we wanted to save dogs that needed help. We didn’t think we would be taking on dogs with families who just couldn’t be bothered. When you bring a dog into your home, it should be forever. That dog should be part of your family. Surrendering a dog because life happens is not OK. We as a society must do better.
And we know we’re preaching to the choir! We are so grateful to all of you for your ongoing support and love during these difficult times.💔
