From grooming to horsemanship, bareback to trail, fun & games to competitive jumping, we do it all! Royal Oak Stables is a Full service Hunter/Jumper training barn located at the Rancho Riding Club.

Best trail pony in search of her new soul mate! 🦄

2011 14.2h Bay Welsh/Connemara Pony Mare

Trixie is perfect for a teen or smaller adult looking for their adventure trail partner! Solo or in a group, not much fazes her. Has most recently been ridden by a lady in her 70s.
Happy to go English, western, or ba****ck. She has encountered everything in the RSF trails, construction, landscapers, golf course, firetruck trucks, garbage trucks, dogs, cows, joggers, etc.

In a barn full of 25+ horses, Trixie is always my first choice for a trail adventure!

While you can take her in the arena, she much prefers the trail. She had a previous career as a jumping show pony, but after she rehabbed from a small injury, we transitioned her to her true love of trail riding. The old injury has not plagued her in the past 3+ years, but I would prefer she not return to a jumping career.

Only reason to sell is that the owner is getting out of horses.
Priced in the low-mid fours, loving home most important.

Royal Oak had a fantastic week at Jingle Bell Show!!!! 🎅🏼🎄

Some of the many highlights:
• Harper & Catching Stars- Winner of the 2’6 Hunter Derby out of 18, Champion of the Low Children’s Hunters, Reserve Champion of the Mini Medal Finals, Winner of the Open Eq Flat out of 15, Winner of the SCHC 2’6 Performance Medal
• Brooke & My Fair Lady - Champion in Crossrails, winning all 3 hunter rounds of 17, 2nd in the SCHC Crossrail Performance Medal, and 2nd in their Short Stirrup Debut
• Blake & Believe in Gold - Winners of the last Stirrup Cup Medal qualifier, 8th in the Stirrup Cup Medal Finals, and several top 4 ribbons in the Short Stirrup Hunters out of 13
• Cris & Dara CBF - top 4 in every class of a very competitive Low AA Jumper division
• Cora & Terians Solo Starlet - 5th, 6th & 8th in a very large Walk Trot division in just their 2nd show together

It’s Day 1 of the Jingle Bell Horse Show!

We’re off to a great start with

Cris and Dara CBF placing 3rd in the Low AA Jumpers

Harper and Catching Stars 3rd in Limit EQ Over Fences. And taking 1st in an Open EQ Flat out of 15!

We braved the warm weather today at VPR & had a wonderful show!!
• Quinn & Occhio were top 3 in every walk trot class, including a win in the U/S
• Brooke & My Fair Lady won both the flat & jumping phases of the SCHC Crossrail Performance Medal, as well as earning reserve champion in the Crossrail division
• Calli & Terians Solo Starlet were 2nd & 3rd in the SCHC Crossrail Performance Medal, which qualified them for the medal finals, as well as several top ribbons in the Crossrail division

The Memorial Day Del Mar Show was a huge success!!

Just a few of the many highlights….
• Brooke & My Fair Lady were champion in their crossrail debut winning 3 o/f classes out of 19!! 🏆🥇🥇🥇
• Victoria & Carus won champion in the Low AA Hunters, as well as picking up blues in the GSDHJA Adult Medal & Limit Eq 🏆🥇🥇
• Carina & Legato RC were champion in the Pre-Green Hunters 🏆
• Paige & Lion King won reserve champion in both the Low AA Hunters & Child/AA Hunters
• Harper & Blanche GCF were reserve champion the in the Green Rider & won the GSDHJA Green Rider Medal 🥇
• Addison & Cancara won the Novice Eq & 2’3 SCHC Performance Medal 🥇🥇
• Addison & Indiana Jones won the Green Rider U/S 🥇
• Reese & Zaskia were 1st & 2nd in the Children’s Jumper debut 🥇🥈
• Claire & Legato RC were 2nd in both the Open Eq o/f & Child/AA Medal & 3rd in the Derby 🥈🥈🥉
• Blake & Believe in Gold had very solid ribbons in a huge Crossrail division in their first show together
• Quinn & Occhio were superstars in the Walk Trot & came away with 3rds in the Eq & u/s 🥉🥉
• Shannon & Zaskia learned a lot in their 2nd show together & got a well deserved 7th in the crossrails

It was a day of firsts at the SCHC Show at VPR!!

• Quinn & Occhio made their horse show debut in Walk Trot with a clean sweep of 3 blues & Champion in the division! 🥇🥇🥇
• Calli & Mr. Taximan won their 1st championship together in Crossrails winning top 2 of all 5 classes!! 🥇🥇🥇🥈🥈
• Shannon & Zaskia debuted in Crossrails with great success, top 3 in all 3 jumping rounds, 4th in the flat & overall Reserve Champion!! 🥇🥈🥉

First Del Mar show in 2024 was a big success!!

•Cris & Dara CBF had a clean sweep of the Low AA Jumpers & second in the .80m Mini Prix
•Paige & Lion were champion in the Low AA Hunters & had very competitive ribbons in the Children/AA Hunters
•Harper & Blanche GCF were champion in the Green Rider Hunters
•Claire & Legato RC moved up to the 2’9, earning 2nd in the medal, 4th in the derby, and ribboned in every class of the large Children/AA Hunter division
•Kristine & Hardi De Glanville moved up to the 2’6 with ease, winning 2nd in the AA medal & equitation & 5th in their first derby together
•Addy & Cancara had solid ribbons in the .70m jr/am jumpers & a 4th in the green rider medal in just their 2nd show together
•Addy & Indiana Jones had good success in the green rider, including a win in the green rider eq flat
•Carina & Legato stepped up to the Pre Green Hunters with ease earning reserve champion

Terian’s Solo Starlet - 14.1h 2008 gray mare, walk trot to 2’

Both are safe safe safe, eye catching, easy, auto change, wonderful on trail, and are winning machines in the show ring! They each have countless champions! Don’t miss out!
