✨FHJ Horse Showcase✨Nabucco

Nabucco is a 7-year-old KWPN gelding by Cape Coral RBF (out of Cornet Obolensky) who was imported from Holland at age 3. This sweet boy joined the FHJ team in July with Francesca Lauta, and he has been thriving in his new home—enjoying trail rides, making new friends, soaking up his new life, and, of course, jumping big jumps.

He has competed successfully up to 1.10m and is excited to keep moving up the levels. With his excellent brain, love for the job, and eager attitude, the future looks bright for this special guy.

Nabucco, affectionately known as “Bookie” and “Bucco di Beppo,” is the ultimate snuggle bug—he’s convinced he was a lap dog in a past life! He adores attention, cookies, and cuddles, and has quickly become a barn favorite.

Fun fact: Nabucco and his owner share the same birthday—it truly was meant to be!

This pony is so special to us and we are so happy to have had the honor to find another amazing home for him for the next year. Rio spent the last couple years in South Florida and is now off to have adventures in the PNW 🌲 Best of luck to Rio and his new kid!
