Pawnec is now officially part of the Philippine Coast Guard K9 Force family. 🐕‍🦺🇵🇭 We just got the official go-ahead (signed and sealed 📄✅) to equip hundreds of Coast Guard dogs with our smart NeoCollars. This is a dream come true for our team, and a huge win for our mission to protect those who protect us. 💙

What’s happening?
🚀 Nationwide rollout: More than 600 Coast Guard K9s will be wearing Pawnec NeoCollars and integrated microchips across the country!
📲 Smart pet tech: Each NeoCollar comes with an NFC + QR tag linked to a digital eHealth Card, so vets and handlers can pull up a dog’s medical info with a quick scan (no more bulky paper records 🎉).
⏱️ More care, less admin: Digitized records = time saved on paperwork, meaning vets can spend more time keeping these pups healthy. Healthy dogs = safer communities for all of us. 🛡️🐾

🌧️🐾 Quezon City pet parents braved the Friday rains for free rabies shots!

Despite the weather, many families showed up today at our partner clinics for World Rabies Day vaccination. 💪🐶🐱

No need to rush—you still have until Sunday (Sept 28) to bring your pets to the participating private clinics (see first comment for full list). Just bring your QCitizen ID and your healthy pet (3+ months, no cough/cold/fever).

In Barangay Basak Pardo, Cebu City, we joined DVMF’s mass pet microchipping and registration day — a special event held as part of the city’s recognition of Basak Pardo’s outstanding door-to-door pet vaccination efforts. Our Pawnec team spent the day registering pets, updating their vaccines, microchipping them with smart trackers, and issuing digital eHealth Cards on the spot. It was community veterinary care at its finest, blending technology with compassion right in the neighborhood. 🏡🐾

Amid the busy lines, our founder Arrian Lim met a middle-aged pet parent – a tatay – who was struggling to navigate the smartphone registration form. He wasn’t familiar with digital forms, but ask him about his dog and his face lit up. “Chow Chow–Akita mix po,” he proudly declared. ❤️🐶 The contrast was heartwarming: even if he doesn’t understand online forms, he deeply knows and loves his dog.

Tatay didn’t show up for technology; he showed up for love. And that love is exactly what we’re here to honor and support. At Pawnec, we believe no dog or owner should be left out of public health just because of technology barriers. We’re here to bridge that gap – making sure every pet gets protected and every pet parent, tech-savvy or not, is included in the journey. Community, compassion, and inclusivity in pet healthcare were on full display that day. 💕🐕 Thank you to Cebu City DVMF and Barangay Basak Pardo for leading the way in making pet health accessible for all! 🙏

A tatay asked us about “register vs login,” re-typed his PIN, and missed the OTP in SMS—but when we asked about his dog, he smiled: “Chow chow at Akita”, he really knew his dog’s heritage!
