Today is a day of remembrance. A day I will never forget—waking up to shock, fear, and the unknown. So much pain, yet also so much bravery, love, and heroism that followed. ❤️🤍💙

In the spirit of togetherness, and because I’m a pet groomer, I thought I’d share some dog faces from 9/11 . The world can always use more dogs, especially on a day like this. 🐾🇺🇸

Realized I haven’t really updated this album. Dying dogs is so much fun. I make sure I use dyes that aren’t toxic to pets. Also has to be the right pet. Cannot be prone to allergy or skin issues. And also has to be good with strangers being excited to see them, shy dogs may not appreciate the extra attention. It’s not something I get to do often for clients. Between the cost of product and the time, it can be pricey. Maybe I’ll look into more temporary color things I can do. It’s fun to look back on these. My little poodle Abby loved the attention. From the brushing, applying the dye, carving. She would also love to look out at her audience from the stage. I’m so grateful she took me on the journey, from finding her in a dumpster starving, to traveling around the country to see friends. Splat is always a good sport, and thinks all people are her friend. Kylo can be shy around strangers, but he loves attention from friends too. Myst has had her mane and tail done rainbow. Not to mention all the times I did temporary color at different events. She for sure would love when little kids would come see the pretty horsey.
