More pets go missing on the 4th of July than any other day of the year. Now is a great time to contact your vet and talk about getting a sedative for your pet if fireworks is something that is scary for your pet. This image states for canines, but many of these suggestions can be useful for more pets than just dogs. Keep your animals inside when possible on 4th of July. Make sure all windows and doors are locked and turn on the tv or radio to help with the noise. For those pets not able to be brought in, such as livestock, make sure all gates are properly closed and locked. Celebrating The 4th of July, can be a lot of fun. Let's keep all our pets safe while everyone celebrates.
