This is so special and 😢 sad… I had to give up my service dog “Griffin” for nearly the same reason… I was suffering from cancer and told I only had a few months left as well… It was so hard, I had him 9 years… he is now living with my friend in Las Vegas and he also helped her husband when he passed away. He was laying with him and taking care of him in his last days. They became very close over the time Griffin had been there even before he passed. Griffin was always there taking care of him and also getting very close to my friend. After he passed and I didn’t I couldn’t take Griffin away from my friend because they had a connection with her husband and it just didn’t feel right to take him away from her. So I let her keep him. 😢 But I have seen him since then and he OF COURSE remembers me and gets so excited to see me! I love that!! Griffin is in some of my videos I post. He is the Puggle.

They asked me to define love, and I didn’t hesitate. Love is a wet nose pressed against your hand when you least expect it. It’s four paws following you from room to room, just to be close. It’s a tail that wags like you’re the best part of their world. Love shows up every day with fur and loyalty.
