Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary Wild Spirit is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and USDA licensed sanctuary dedicated towards the rescue of non-releasable wolves & other wild canids.

MISSION STATEMENT

RESCUE—To rescue non-releasable, captive-bred, displaced, and unwanted wild canids, especially as a direct result of the exotic pet trade. SANCTUARY—To provide each rescue with permanent, safe sanctuary and lifelong care addressing physical, mental, and emotional health and wellness through species-specific nutrition, medical support, enrichment, and animal companionship, when a

pplicable. EDUCATION—To educate the public about the plight of our rescued wild canids while providing species-specific information, focusing especially on wolfdogs, how to tell the difference between a wolf, a wolfdog, and a domestic dog, and about the ethical care and treatment of domestic and wild animals alike.

Stealing an umbrella. Stealing cheese. Almost taking a baby’s shoe. Digging holes. Bullying Gunner, her buddy in their enclosure, over cached food. Trying to bait us into touching her paws (when she doesn’t like us to touch them). Licking a mobility scooter because it had chili beans spilled on it. Smacking her water bucket. Almost stealing a keeper’s phone. Grabbing Paul’s new Renaissance Faire trinkets…

Then sleeping like she’s never done a single thing wrong. 💛
