Arthur Family Rabbitry We started raising and showing rabbits in 2002. This was a 4-H and FFA project that has grown dramatically over the last 23 years.

There are so many different things you can do with rabbits. They don’t only serve as a pet. You can do anything from showing, raising them for meat quality, training them to do jumping races and so much more. You will never get bored with your furry friend! As quoted by my college daughter who bought her 1st rabbit at 5 years old: "When I started this project, I was very young and just learning fr

om others. Now I am the leader, teacher, and mentor. It is hard to explain 12 years of what I have received from raising rabbits. My future will be better because of the friendship's, educational aspects, connections, and people skills developed because of raising rabbits."

Llano Estacado Rabbit Breeders Association show in the books! I was extremely pleased at how my Rabbits did on the show table. Of course I don’t have all the results or pictures because I was so busy at the show! I am so grateful to have such good friends that helped me get all my animals to the table. I took four breeds. (Which is very difficult to do when you are by yourself). There was a couple of times when I had three breeds showing at the same time. I did have some good wins. And I just loved the competition and the quality that I competed against.
