This adorable school of rescue pups has been swimming their way into everyone’s hearts — and they’ll officially be available for adoption starting 12/6!

From fearless explorers to blanket-loving snugglers, each of these six tiny terrier-mix cuties has their own quirks and charm. They’ve been busy learning how to puppy, practicing kisses, and perfecting dramatic nap poses… now they’re ready to make a splash in their forever homes.

And don’t miss the final slide — Mama Nori, the petite terrier-mix who brought this little ocean of love into the world. She’s as sweet as she is tiny, and she’s ready to be the big fish in someone’s life.

ADOPT 🤿 SNORKEL

Have you ever seen a more beautiful creature?! Snorkel is a 10-17 year old pup that’s looking for his forever home. He’s listed as a Chihuahua, though it’s suspected that he could be mixed with something else. We aren’t sure what, but some guesses so far have been a camel, a pile of dryer lint, taxidermy, and Rizzo the rat. If you have any other guesses, we’d love to hear them!

ADOPTABLE ✨ LUNA

Meet Luna (aka Pound Cake, aka Loony Toons, aka Big Tuna), an approximately 9 year old chihuahua mix. Luna was surrendered in Charlotte by her owners due to a move. She struggled a lot in the shelter environment, defensive and too scared to let staff touch her. She was sprung from the shelter by a volunteer and within hours, she relaxed into her cuddly, attention-loving self. After some R&R in foster care, Luna is now ready to find her forever home!

Luna is confident, affectionate, reliable, and an excellent companion. This gal has all the basics down - house trained, crate trained, good in the car, and great on a leash. Luna loves nothing more than a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood (she’s been known to keep on trucking for up to 3 miles at a time if you let her) followed by a nap on the couch.

Luna would do well as your one-and-only or as part of a pack. She’s done well meeting other dogs (especially her size or smaller) and mostly carries on with her business - she’s an independent lady! She tends to ignore the cats she’s met. Although she hasn’t met kids yet, Luna would probably prefer older, gentle kids who understand her age, boundaries, and need for a bit of extra care.

Luna is a bit overweight at 18 pounds and will need help from her new family to get back to a healthy weight to ensure her golden years are her best yet. We’re having her cloudy eye evaluated by a vet, but it doesn’t seem to affect her vision. She can also be a bit standoffish with new people and fearful of being picked up, and would appreciate adopters who understand that time is needed to earn her trust.

Meet Elvis, a 30-pound charmer with a whole lotta love to give 🕺🏻

This six year old black terrier mix is the king of cuddles and will have you “All Shook Up” with his playful antics. He’s got a heart as big as his name suggests, and when it comes to belly rubs, Elvis is always ready for an encore.

Fortunately, he ain’t a “Hound Dog” or cryin’ all the time—he’s high class and never caught a rabbit (that we know of!) — but he is happiest when he’s around his people, soaking up all the attention. Elvis loves to “Shake, Rattle, and Roll” his way through life, always with a wagging tail and a squeaky toy. He’s house-trained and working on his basic commands, proving he’s a “Teddy Bear” with brains.

Hi there, I’m Barney! Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’m a charming 3-year-old pup, weighing in at a petite 14 pounds.

I’m a big sweetheart. I adore snuggling up close to my humans and showering them with kisses. If you’re looking for a companion to cozy up with on the couch, I’m your guy! I am very dog friendly and get along well with small and big dogs.

I’m potty trained and I’m making progress towards crate training every day. When you leave me alone for a bit, I might let out a little whine from my crate, but I settle down quickly in a few minutes and snooze peacefully without a peep.

Here’s the deal though: I’ll need someone who’s willing to put in the time and effort to help me with my basic obedience training. But hey, I’m a quick learner, and I promise to give you all the love and loyalty you could ever ask for in return!
