Let there be light!
Woohoo! The barn now has lighting and electricity!
This winter we will be able to extend the work days a bit farther into the evenings and will have adequate light when the animals come inside in the worst of the stormy weather.

Announcing the charter members of the Cascadia Flock of Kerry Hill Sherp!
Born at high noon on the 4th of July, these two ram lambs are the first 100% Kerry Hill rams born in the US.
Sons of the late Carpenter’s Ace of Chris Adamson’s Whitfield Flock, these two carry strong markings and the bearing of their sire.

Kerry Hill update!
Of the 4 imported embryos to 2 recips, 1 ewe confirmed in lamb with twins out of Carpenters Ace.
Embryos out of Barracuda are still waiting to be imported, and implanted this fall.
Expecting ewe arrival at the farm this weekend, and lambs sometime late summer.
Our flock will be the Cascadia Flock of Kerry Hill Sheep.

Confirmed straws from Edgar, Nidderdale Jim, Marlbrook, Bristol Aribo and Moses.

After lambing, we will assess the lambs and make keep/sell decisions. There is a wait list for the Ace lambs, and for the 2025 embryo lambs, and there are spots available for the 2026 AI lamb crop.
