It may have taken me a few years to get down, but I finally figured out how to keep this girl’s tail long and pretty. If you’ve had an appy and heard about their “rat tails” you know why I am happy 😅 I want to keep letting it go see how much thicker it will get, plus she needs a dye job to cover her orange 😂 good job Lucy!

I'm obsessed with this clip. To say I am proud of this horse would be an understatement! When we first started I rode him kind of like a baby, now he's cruising like a pro. I was also recovering from a bad back injury and having a nerve squished in my leg so my riding wasn't cute 😂 We call Clark a diamond in the rough, the beauty was there just needed some polishing to shine! He for sure had a great foundation for me to build on. Forever grateful for Erica McCulley for reaching out to me about this guy, he makes life a lot more fun and showed up right when I needed him ❤️

Well, his assigned birthday was July 2nd, we really don’t know for sure lol! This was a hard one to put together, but watching this old man age has been one of the most amazing things I’ve gotten to witness. He’s cared for so many students, there’s probably 50-100 little ones that have had him touch their life. We struggled a lot in my youth years, he was spooky and could be quite grouchy when he wasn’t in the mood to do something. As he got older, his attitude started to shift. I think he understood and found that riding really could be fun! He grew a love for jumping and was doing a lot of it into his 30s, but last year I did start to see his joints not holding up comfortably anymore. I knew it was time to retire from showing the walk trot and jumping. He has never been one to be able to fully retire, trust me I tried. He looses weight, gets depressed, goes off feed. He is not happy being out in the pasture untouched. He craves the love, attention, and relationship being in a lesson program and riding gives. So now he is happily doing walk only at the shows and some walk trot at home. I couldn’t be happier that he’s this old looking so good and really seems to enjoy his job still. So here’s to my old man that aged backwards, Happy birthday Bobby 💕 #33
