Good morning Meraki fam!

Pepi & Violet both went on separate outings yesterday with their trainer, Martin Mutts Professional Pet Services LLC. They got to visit Lowe’s & even our favorite pet store, Pet Supplies Plus - Hope Mills, NC!

In regards to Pepi his trainer reported back:

“He did OUTSTANDING!” 😁

& for Violet aka Vi she reported:

“She is such a social butterfly! She really seems to seek out human interaction and gives kisses to small children.” 🥰

We hope by them working on their training and getting more exposure we will find their furever homes soon! 🙏🏻

At 6 months old they’re both spayed/neutered, UTD, on monthly prevention & crate/house trained. They are dog/cat AND kid friendly! Both know how to sit & Vi has mastered down.

🐾 IF OUR FOSTER DOGS COULD TALK

We have a feeling we'd hear a few things around here.

😂 "I know you just fed me, but surely there's room for a second breakfast."

🐶 "That other dog is annoying. They're also my best friend. It's complicated."

🛋️ "I see you're sitting down. Excellent. I've been waiting for you to get comfortable so I can take up the entire couch."

👀 "I wasn't getting into trouble. I was conducting an investigation."

❤️ "I may be a little goofy, a little stubborn, and occasionally a handful, but I promise I'm worth it."

Life with rescue dogs is never boring, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

🐾 VIOLET & PEPI-Our sibling-rivalry duo has been with us for 5, going on 6 MONTHS! 😂 These pups are ready to leave the sibling shenanigans behind and start their own adventures with families of their own.

🐾 TESS- She's a newer member of the Meraki family, but all of her brothers have already been adopted! Now this sweet girl is flying solo. 🥹

Hi friends, Opal here, back with another chapter of my story.

Last time, I told you how me and my puppies were rescued and brought somewhere safe. For the first time in a long time, we had a warm, cozy place to sleep, plenty of food, and people making sure we were healthy.

After that, we settled into a wonderful foster home where we could relax and just be dogs. While I got to enjoy a little peace and safety, my babies had some growing to do.

Those little ones grew bigger every day, and before long, it was time for them to find families of their own. One by one, my babies left for their forever homes. I was happy they were getting their very own families, but eventually, they were all gone.

And then, it was just me. All my puppies had found their people, but I was still waiting for someone to choose me. 🥹

Next week, I'll tell you a little more about me - my personality, the kind of girl I am, and what makes me special.

Until then, please keep sharing my story. My forever family has to be out there somewhere, right? 🏡

Violet is your girl! 💜

She’s almost 6 months old. She’s crate & house trained, knows sit & down, is dog/cat/kid friendly. She’s a lover girl & ready to snuggle up on the couch after running around the yard. She is also spayed, chipped & UTD on vaccines!

Violet has been patiently waiting for a home to call her own. She was born in a local shelter along with her 7 other siblings. & thank God they were because their prego mama was set to be euthanized that Monday but mama had them that Friday (5.1.26). Now it’s Violets turn to find her furever!

One of the challenges of being a small rescue without a physical shelter is finding opportunities for people to meet our adoptable dogs.

Our pups are waiting for their forever homes, and sometimes all it takes is one meeting for someone to fall in love!
