It’s been a busy few weeks . A chunk of our holiday season was spent with these 2 extra special house guests, Stevie and Piper! Both girls had the best time @ Chateau Brenda and stayed for well over a week! They made themselves at home and cannot wait to come back.
Fun fact: Stevie and Piper are the fur babies of Eryn’s friends! We love when our guests are already friends of the family before arrival 💕

Meet Eleanor! This perfect little princess was saved by my grandchildren’s caregiver. She found her in her backyard tangled in the fence gate. Eleanor was teensy tiny and freezing cold! We have worked together to get her to the vet, added some much needed lbs (ounces 😉- she wasn’t even a lb when she was found!) and got her to where she has been placed with a loving foster until she is big enough to find her furever home. This little angel is fully edible.

I love this part of my job so much - saving animals in need really fills my heart space and is my most favorite thing to do 💕

Hi Everyone 👋🏻 I’m Sophie! I’m the sweetest, quietest, most easy going cavalier/cocker spaniel you will ever meet! I love my crate- it’s my movable bedroom 💕 I don’t love rowdy energy, but I sure love following you around and cuddling all day long. Aren’t I the cutest little mix? I get to stay with for 10 nights! I feel so lucky to be in such a comfortable home. It’s pawsitively perfect. Ok, time for me to retire for the evening and go catch some snuggles. Sweet dreams 💤

Here at Brenda’s Joy, we cater to a variety of your pet’s needs, and we specialize in vacation stays. If you want to go away and ensure that your furry (or scaled or feathered) child is secure, safe, loved, and happy, Brenda’s Joy is here for you! Brenda brings pets into her home and also does daytime/evening visits at your own home when you are away. Since she has animals of her own, she cannot do overnights in your personal home. Brenda has incredible experience and loyal clients who can speak with you to help you feel comfortable with your choice. When your pet is in Brenda’s care, they are treated as her own. She is bonded, insured and holds a kennel license. So, book that vacation and take that long weekend away…because at Brenda’s Joy, your pet will be on vacation too! Can’t wait to hear from you! Hi! I am Brenda, and I am so excited to introduce BrendasJoy to the world.

I am a mother of five, including my two rescue doodles (who you will see a lot of on this page,) and grandmother to two (who you will also see a lot of on this page!) With my non-fur children now quite grown up, I have time to extend my private consultancy and boutique services to new furry clients (or feathered, or scaley- I have cared for every pet you can imagine!)

My passion has always been animals; I have volunteered at Mainline Animal Rescue for the last 16 years, fostered countless animals, and have helped find loving homes for 20+ cats and dogs. I am a rescue adoption advocate, and I believe that every animal deserves a loving home.

In addition to pet adoption consultancy and day-time house visits, I open my Radnor home to select animals for overnight stays. I also offer invisible fence training in my services.

My team is me, plus my loyal co-founders (Squash and Murphy, the rescue doodles in these photos!)- with occasional cuddle assistance from my grandchildren (5 and 2 years old!) Given my house has other dogs and small children, all paw-tential (see what I did there?) clients for visits in my home must undergo a behavioral evaluation.

Our pets are our children and deserve personalized attention, as such BrendasJoy is boutique and will stay that way.
