We are putting the “Fun” in fundraising with our first annual SPAYghetti and NO Balls Dinner. We don’t want to offend anyone so we will be offering meatballs for an additional donation 😅 FOREVER HOMES FOR PAWS and Hardin County Community Cats are hosting this event to raise funds for their respective spay and neuter programs for cats and dogs in our community. We are working with Friends of Hardin County Animal Shelter (FOHCAS) who will be opening The Snip Spot low cost surgery center in Radcliff this fall. FOHCAS has committed to providing the surgery clinic and we are committed to help fund the cost of surgeries for our communities unaltered pets and at risk, free-roaming community kittens, cats and stray dogs. Phillips Grove is our first major sponsor by providing their beautiful venue for our dinner and we are so grateful to them for their support. We will be posting other sponsorship levels and opportunities for you to participate in to help us reach our goal of $20,000 ($10,000 to each rescue with every dollar going to our spay and neuter funds). We also need silent and live auction items as well as bottles of bourbon and wines for Bourbon & Wine Pull. More to come as we continue to plan for this event. UPDATE on tiny Elmer ❤️
He’s only 4.2lbs aprox 6-7 years old
Blood came back it’s fine but white counts high he thinks because of skin and ears
Skin test came back normal
Elmer has yeast on ears and skin
Need to have medicated bath and ear drops once a day.
He is not microchipped. Had his shots
Cut his nails shorter
No worms no heart worms
Get booster in 3 weeks for shots
2 times week for medical bath then once a week after that
Thank you Amanda Chaves for taking him and our other intake puppy Dutchess to the vet for us this morning.

❤️❤️ ELMER IS GOING TO FOSTER for a couple weeks to recover. We have several applications on him already and I’m sure if he’s not a foster fail he will get the best forever home. Thank you to everyone who expressed interest in him to foster or adopt. Elmer is on his way to his best life ❤️

This poor little guy nka Elmer was found by a contractor going into a home they purchased to remodel and sell. He was in the house an hour before he found this poor baby hiding in a pile of clothes, covered in fleas, no food or water, his nails have grown back into his pads making it difficult to walk💔😭 He was brought to us where he’s being cared for and given lots of love and comfort by our amazing volunteers. He’s heading to the vet in the morning with update to follow. Thank you to the contractor that found him. Videos in the comments before and after his nails were trimmed. He’s still itchy from fleas but he’ll be getting medicated baths to help with his skin. Prayers he has a good vet report 🙏🏼

Today we want to put the spotlight back on Daisy fondly known as oopsie Daisy do to the wobble in her walk. Daisy has been with her foster mom for months just waiting for her forever home. She is super sweet. Does not do well with small dogs might do ok with a older calm dog her size or bigger.She just wants a home of her own to live out her best life.If interested call 270-801-6225
