Pet Sitting Reminder:

Hello! Some of my most recent guests (they have been hard at work helping us get ready for the arrival of our son!) would like to help me remind you all that I will be on maternity leave starting March 23rd-April 30th, where I will not be taking any guests.

In May, and possibly June, I will only be accepting ESTABLISHED clients.

If you are wanting to be an established guest in case you need us in May or June, you only have a couple weeks left to reach out for a meet and greet.

This summer, I will be reducing how many guests I have at one time, as we adjust to life with our son. If you have a trip or vacation planned, don’t hesitate to reach out to me, asap, as spots will be limited and are first come, first serve.

Additionally, at this time, I will not be offering drop-in services for new clients. If/when that changes, I’ll let you know! I’m happy to refer you to 2 other businesses that offer drop-in services!

Thank you so much for your continued support, it means the world to us! It allows me to work from home, take care of my family and do what I love!

Meet Harlee, the oldest guest we have had! She is 17 years old, deaf, AND blind. I figured she would be nervous in a new environment, but it only took her a couple hours to figure out where the bowls were, and all the comfy spots! In fact, she found her bed and fell asleep within 30 minutes of arrival!

She required extra care, like being carried up and down the stairs to go potty, and having her food bowl brought to her on her bed. She spent 95% of her time sleeping, the rest exploring! She was a doll!

Puppies are fun and can bring fresh air to a home, but seniors will always have our hearts! It’s always an honor to take care of them 🤍🤍🤍

DID YOU KNOW?!

I offer chauffeur services for established clients! If your dog or cat needs to be taken to and/or from a routine vet clinic or grooming, I can take them for $25 each way. If your dog is boarding during that time, it is only $25 total for the trip!

Kona and Finley needed dropped off and picked up from their grooming appointment while boarding, and Finn needed to see the vet for a routine appointment while boarding.

Just an extra service to help get things done while you are out of town or busy, so your loved one is ready to go when you get back home!

Meet Creed! He is a 5 year old lab and goodest boy who acts like he is 1 years old when he is excited! I had a drop in with him today, and when I didn’t give him his treat right away when I came inside (I was trying to play with him), he stood in the kitchen where the treats are at and barked at me 😂 Yes sir, so sorry 🫡

I am doing very, very few drop in clients now, due to it being winter and having a newborn soon, but I wanted to show off this good boy!

Look…..JUST LOOK AT THEM!!! 😍😍😍

Meet Kona and Finley! They are Alaskan Klee Kai. Kona is 2 years old (the smaller one with blue eyes) and Finley is 1 years old!

They are here for boarding for the first time while their mom is enjoying a cruise.

These guys are pint size furballs full of love and fun! Kona is initially shy and slow to warm up. I was with them for an hour before Henry came home on lunch break….guess who got Kona on their lap first….surprise surprise! 🤥 🤣

They don’t have a fenced-in yard at home, so they are in heaven with our yard. I normally refuse to be outside in the snow willingly, but these two made it fun to spend time outside together yesterday. It was hard to get them inside during the day, they were having so much fun running around and climbing the tree to get the pesky squirrels. They absolutely have a blast here playing with their friends but are also happy to be on our laps for cuddles.

We hope to take care of them again soon! As Henry said when he first met them, they are as cute as they come!

Sweet Frankie! She is 3 years old and a pit bull. We love her so much!

Rarely, but sometimes, pet sitting looks like this……a very nervous/scared guest who we have to try to win over, for hours.

Yesterday was Frankie’s first night of boarding and she was quit scared! She loved all the dogs, but was very timid around Henry and I, only allowing small pets. It’s understandable, her previous owners abandoned her and it took her new mom 6 MONTHS to coax her from under the house she was hiding under! Trust doesn’t come easy to her!

So, I set up her kennel in the living room that was brought from her home, kept her door open, and allowed her to come and go as she pleased. Her feeling safe was our top priority, and her kennel was that space for her. She ate her meals in there, and I brought her water. Frankie made mini excursions around the house at her leisure, we just let her do her thing, while giving her words of affirmation!

Although she never fully got comfortable with us, we still consider this boarding session a success! Her parents were able to leave town for the weekend, and Frankie was safe, warm, and very loved here. We hope to see her more often so that over time we can continue to build our relationship with her, and one day, she may just sit on the couch to watch the football game and sleep in our bed at night!
