Owner moving into a apartment that wont let the dog go plus he is starting new job as a over the road truck driver. So needs a home for his German Shepherd and his cat.

Not at my rescue.. can give you their number if serious.

Boo is 8 years old and about 120 pounds. She's good with people, kids, and other pets. She's completed offleash dog training when she was younger and responds well to basic commands. She is house trained and can be inside or outside. She is an excellent guard dog and a huge people pleaser, she will be on her best behavior for a treat. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines.
If interested I can give you the owners number.

UPDATE: NO LONGER AVAILABLE!!!

Meet Cindy Crawford!

A 40lb, 18-month-old, Siberian Husky who came to the shelter as a stray and is now ready to find a place to call her own. Her warm, friendly nature is obvious right away—she greets people with enthusiasm and charm. She’s interested in other dogs, approaching them with curiosity and a playful energy that often turns into an open invitation to run and have fun together.

This active girl is happiest when she’s on the move. Whether it’s running, jumping, or exploring, Cindy thrives on activity and would be a perfect match for a family that loves the outdoors. She also has a serious love for water—pools, sprinklers, puddles… if there’s a splash to be made, Cindy is all in. It’s easy to imagine her as the ultimate lake dog, spending sunny days swimming and playing by your side.

Cindy Crawford is looking for a home that can keep up with her zest for life—one that will embrace her playful spirit, give her plenty of exercise, and maybe even take her on a few water adventures.

We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only. If you are interested in adopting, please contact us via FB Messenger or email us at [email protected] for an application. You can also find one on our website at http://johnsoncountyanimalshelter.com/adopt/. Once an application is submitted and approved, we can set an appointment to meet the pet!

To anyone and everyone who wants or needs my help posting your pets on my websights to find forever homes.
Its a new law in Indiana that all pets that are able have to be spayed or Neutered, rabies and microchipped before adoption. Law went into effect Jan 1 so if you want or need my help posting a pet you have please make sure this is done 1st and then when sending me pics write up a bio on the pet with any contact info you want published because I dont have the time to screen everyones comments or request. Im sorry for that but I'd be happy to give you my application for them to fill out and do a criminal background check and set someone up as well to do a home visit for you. I'm really bust here dealing with seniors now so im not on here as much as I'd like to be so be patient please. Also send pics with the written up bio plus city and state pet is in. Its easier this way all in 1 post so I can copy and paste the written post. Im trying to help whoever I can but sometimes I cant help every one like I want to.

Indiana GSD and Siberian Husky Rescue is really in a desperate need for donations.
Donations have been so low now that the fundraiser on Facebook has not shown our rescue and other rescues are having the same issue so we can't raise funds on here unless its like this and people donate to our vet or paypal or venmo until thats fixed but no one is contacting us back on the fundraising issue just like other rescues and its even been on the news about another rescue that its happening to.
We have 2 seniors at the end of life that we have to put down because we won't let them suffer. 1 can't even walk now and is 19 years old and im having to use a belly wrap to walk her outside but now she has stopped eating. Its just to much and never easy when I have to make this decision but I cant continue helping if we dont pay down our vet and pay for things like this. Please donate even if its $1.00 and I have almost 5000 friends so that would pay my vet off and some towards care credit that is almost $5000.
Please I dont ask for much but I'm begging at this point.
My vet is going to come here to put them down and also do shots, microchip and Heartworm test those 2 that were dropped off here by the homeless guy as well. Please Please Please 🙏
Paypal is [email protected] or [email protected] both go to the rescue account.
Venmo is Joanalle-Zupan last 4 digits 0421

Thank you all for any help you can give.

I just want to say I'm sorry to all my followers that I havent been on here much and posted much. I run this rescue on my own no help with any internet stuff or walking feeding cleaning or vetting except chris when he can. So the internet stuff comes last due to all the lifers need my attention due to age and health. I hopefully will be able to get some free time to find someone who can help me with some of it but been trying for years. Thank you all for supporting what I do and sticking it out with me.

12/24/2025

We are not taking in anymore dogs at this time. I have said this over and over. I get no help here at the rescue and donations are very little to none and we have now 28 senior lifers left that we have to look after so space is very limited to rescue adoptable dogs. Im sorry but until our vet is paid off and we have funds to make sure these lifers stay comfortable and get whatever vetting they need when they need it we will not take on anymore.
