My non-aesthetic photo of the day 🥰 we pulled all the peppers from the garden this past Sunday and this is the last of it.

I’ve been canning, dehydrating, and freezing ✨BUT✨ I’m looking for a good hot sauce recipe!

If you have a tried and true recipe please send it my way!! I grew all these very hot peppers for Ben and besides dehydrating them I don’t know how to make them tastes good 😅😩😬

We had such an abundance of peppers this year that we haven’t been able to eat/process them quickly enough. A lot of them are fully ripening, getting dark spots, and becoming wrinkly. Instead of tossing them, or composting, I’m dehydrating.

Every little bit counts!

Homegrown will quickly ripen - faster than store bought produce. If I’m not paying attention it will rot and I don’t want to cry over wasted food this year. To much hard work goes into growing food and I’m not going to let it go to waste.

I plan to make ‘everything jalapeño’ seasoning to top bagels. Jalapeño flakes + powder to top soups, stir fry’s.. anything we want a little bit of spice with 💚

Take me back to 2009 when sharing was fun and not every video had to be perfectly curated and aesthetically pleasing.

This Autumn I’m trying to not let any garden produce go to waste. I’m pickling Pepper Relish + Moving chickens around + schooling + picking more peppers - which I forgot to film, but I did share my biggest pumpkin grown this year!! I’m super excited about that!
