Hulk is a young mini Aussiedoodle (35 pounds) who needs someone with Aussie experience! He is high energy, calm with his immediate family, but gets stressed in a crowd. This is not an apartment dog!

Huck is a lovely boy who lives to chase and retrieve his ball, has great manners, and is good with other dogs. He will need some obedience training and time to settle in, but he is already house trained and crate trained. He sleeps quietly on the bed at night and loves to cuddle! No kids or cats please.

🚨 FOSTER OR ADOPTER URGENTLY NEEDED!! 🚨 We thought we had a new foster lined up but they may have changed their minds!!

Mittens Too is 12 years old and very healthy and active for her age. She’s a smart girl who loves to play and be brushed, but she’s also content to snooze the day away with her favorite person. She’s an expert biscuit maker and has perfect litter box habits.

Mittens is looking for a home where she can be the queen of the castle, as she doesn’t do well with other animals. She would do best in a quieter household with no young children and no other cats or dogs. She doesn’t really mind being at home while you’re at work during the day, she can keep herself entertained with toys, food puzzles, and TV! But she needs a good play session and pets once you get home. She gets the zoomies and will acquire snacks by any means necessary. She’s not afraid of carriers and will happily go inside for a handful of treats, so no need to run around and catch her in the event of a vet visit! She’ll also snuggle up and sleep in bed with you.

Mittens can sometimes be temperamental and scratch or nip without much warning, so she also needs an experienced cat person who will be patient with her. Mittens is a cat that NEEDS play time, or else she becomes a spicy girl. She can become play aggressive when she’s under-stimulated. She likes meeting new people, but is slow to trust. However she’s a snuggly, chatty, loving companion once she’s warmed up to you!

Dolly is looking for her forever home! Look at that sweet face!! Poor girl came from a neglect situation and is staying at a boarding place until she can find her new family.

Some of her many highlights:
- Loves being outside
- Loves going on walks
- Loves to play
- Housebroken
- Sleeps through the night
- Not destructive
- Polite during human meal times
- Good at playing by herself
- Loves belly rubs

“Dolly is 4 1/2 years old. She is definitely a working dog and needs space to be able to exercise. She is spayed and we took her to update her shots. Not sure how she does with cats, but she is good with dogs very much so the dominant female, so will definitely challenge rank wherever she goes, but has been completely manageable. She is lovable and has been fine with our kids so far.

Dolly came from a ruff situation where her owner was unable to care for her. Dolly has made exceptional progress! She desperately wants to show a loving loyal family how good at being a Great Pyrenees she is. She minds the four foot fence but we recommend higher. She’s off leash upland free range trained and she would greatly appreciate her independence being respected!

She’s a very dominant personality and will need deliberate integration into whatever role she takes on, but is willing to learn and is a sweetheart once you’ve made your important nonnegotiable boundaries clear. If you’re more inclined to relax inside with most of your time then a doggy door is basically a must. If you want to hike with an amazing friend or need a loving thoughtful guardian, she’s the teddy bear you’ve always dreamed of!”

Slinky is a male dachshund/chihuahua mix around 2-3 years old. This cutie pie loves to cuddle! However, he also needs a home that will give him plenty of physical and mental stimulation - playtime or even something more structured like agility training. He is very well-trained and smart!

Slinky does well with other dogs and ignores cats, but we would not recommend him around young kids. He seems to attach himself to one person in the home (preferably female) and can be territorial towards other humans. If you’re his person, you can look forward to exploring outside and chilling together inside!

FOSTER NEEDED!!

Can you be Finn’s angel? Seeking hospice foster!

Finn is a lovely house-trained senior (10 years old) who lost his home when his owners lost theirs. He is a large boy who has lost weight through dieting and exercising in his current foster home. All he wants is to be loved!

Finn is good with other dogs and ignores cats. He barks to let you know when he needs to go out, and loves to wander around the yard. His arthritis pain has eased as he has lost some weight. He is considered hospice due to medical aging issues, and is looking for a soft place to land. Could that be with you?

Mysteria is a female tabby who was born in November 2013. She can be shy at first before she is comfortable with you, but she’s very chatty when she wants attention! Mysteria has been just fine with other cats in our Sanctuary and in her previous home, loves small children, and is very low maintenance. She loves treats, and will meow a cute, squeaky meow for them!
