Hey everyone!
We want to start by saying the last 5 years have brought us some of the best experiences EVER. From watching smiling, teary eyed nursing home residents relive their childhood holding a baby goat and discussing how they grew up on a farm, to kiddos having a blast celebrating turning another year older at our venue with a potbelly pig waiting for birthday cake scraps outside the barn.
Truthfully, we have put this post off for a long time. It feels a little like giving up a dream-however we said when we started this that if it wasnt in God's will, we didnt want to do it. This past year has hit us incredibly hard. From animal loss, to extreme rate hikes in zoo liability insurance, and then getting the insurance figured out just to have our home insurance cancel for hosting farm events (we stopped on site events and its all lined out, thanks to our awesome agents).
So for now, we are going to say goodbye. I dont know what the future holds for us but the end of one journey is the beginning of another.
We still love our animals, so dont be surprised if you see us in town with a kangaroo in a bag. That's probably not ever gonna change. 😜
We love you guys, thanks for the ride.
