We lost our Darbi today. Despite a trip to the vet and antibiotics she slipped away this evening. We’ve only dealt with mastitis a couple times in our herd and so far it’s beat us each time. I’m sorry we couldn’t save you sweet girl. Connor was looking forward to a final show season with her and she was being retired. She did bless us with 3 beautiful kids sired by Agape’s Prize Diamond Rolex that we retained. We love you Darbs, watch over us❤️

Alpine babies were turned out today in the Junior pen. Had a doe still available…lots of interest but no one came to get her. Watching them all move around this morning I think she gets to stay for a while.

Thunder made some cute kids last year. Enjoying watching them mature. They met their future Beau today when the babies were turned out into the junior pen.

It wasn’t sunny, but it was close to 75! Baby alpines got to play outside for a bit. After some evaluation we do have one Alpine buck kid and one Alpine doe kid available.

Hope to get the Nigerian doe kids out tomorrow…we do have several of those looking for new bottle holders! Lots of splash for anyone looking for color!

Well things escalated quickly! Allie kidded 2 days ago with triplets…and today on their due dates Audrey went to check the barn and found Syrah and Ava had kidded with 6 kids among them! Will have to play the “Who’s the mama?” game on any keepers🙈
