There was a time I couldn’t even get near Toup. He was a neighborhood stray who didn't trust humans.

But I gave him time, space, and patience. I let him come to me on his own terms. Slowly but surely, he began to trust.

Now he is the best "big brother" to my kids. He shows us love every day.

To see him like this—calm, gentle, peaceful beside this tiny human—feels like nothing short of a miracle. He’s come so far. And I am so proud of him.

It's a beautiful reminder of just how powerful love can be❤️

Today was a quiet, rainy day. The kitties got lots of snuggles, and my oldest had the best time playing with them.

Toup has been so amazing with my boys—always looking for cuddles, so gentle and patient as they learn how to use soft hands. He loves to be near them, and they love every bit of him. They giggle at his screeches, and my oldest even tries to meow back.

Their bond is already so strong, and it fills my heart with joy to watch it grow.

Tiberius is one of the “strays” that’s here to stay.

I rescued him years ago—before The Biscuit Factory ever existed. He showed up with big tomcat cheeks, a skinny body, and a hunger that told me he’d been fending for himself for a long time.

He devoured every meal like it might be his last… until he realized he never had to go hungry again. Now he’s safe, loved, and very well fed.

He’s one of our forever furballs—one of many I promised a better life to.

Annaboy🐾

He originally showed up at an old friend’s house—likely dumped nearby—and they took him in, thinking he was a female and naming “her” Annabell. It wasn’t until I brought "her" to the vet that we discovered Annabell was actually a declawed, neutered male. And suddenly, his behavioral challenges made a lot more sense.

Declawed cats often struggle with things like litter box issues—it’s heartbreaking how many end up misunderstood, rehomed, or worse. But as a cat lover, I knew he didn’t need punishment or judgment—he just needed patience, understanding, and a safe place to land.

So Annabell became Annaboy, and he’s been with me ever since. This is his home now. He’s still a little spicy, but he’s loved just the way he is.💛

Woofstock returns!

Willow Run Sanctuary & Adoptions has a 15 year anniversary coming up on August 11!

Woofstock 2025 will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Barclay Square, Punxsutawney, PA from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. - rain or shine!

Featuring pet photos, face painting, bake sale, basket raffle table,
lemonade stand, music and more!

Come to the park for a picnic lunch on August 16! Sloppy Joes, chips and soft drink will be available for $6 from 11 a.m. until sold out!

Please donate a basket for the raffle table or bake a tasty treat for the bake sale! Donators for the basket raffle and for the bake sale are needed!

Volunteers for this event are also needed! If you can volunteer on the day of the event, please contact (570) 357 4070 to let us know!

The *Hydration Station* will be available at Woofstock for canine event-goers to cool off! Water for paws, shade and happy people will be there to greet you!

Willow Run will be offering VERY LOW COST pet food, treats, pet toys, collars, leashes, grooming products and more! There will be something for everyone! **FREE pet items will be available while quantities last.

T-shirts and other odds and ends will be available for purchase at the Willow Run table!

All proceeds always directly benefit the animals living at Willow Run Sanctuary as well as animals within Jefferson County, PA.

Look at those bright eyes! 👀✨

We haven’t seen this much of Bennett’s beautiful eye in a long time—and we’re thrilled with how well he’s healing after his entropion surgery!

He’s clearly feeling more comfortable, happier, and finally free from the constant irritation he was dealing with. Tomorrow he heads back to the vet for his follow-up, and paws crossed we get the all clear—because this sweet guy is just about ready to find his purrfect forever home. 🐾💛

We’re still working on covering the cost of his vet care, so if you’d like to chip in to help with Bennett’s bill, every little bit is so appreciated.
