Never a dull moment at Choice Veterinary Services ✨

When Dr. Shaw received a call to help an emu in need, he didn’t give it a second thought. Our team jumped right in to surgically repair the beak of this beautiful bird named Capone after he endured trauma from a suspected animal attack. He is now back to eating and drinking on his own and has resumed normal activity on the farm and we couldn’t be happier 🪶

We have some super exciting news 🐎

Please help us welcome Dr. Emma to the Choice Veterinary Services family, we are so very excited for her to join us! She will be responsible for all of our equine patients as we perfect this new department of our hospital. Our equine doors open on MAY 1st of this year!

Tucker is just the best boy while he waits his turn for surgery. Today he will be neutered and have a gastropexy procedure as well.

A gastropexy is a surgery that tacks the stomach to the abdominal wall. This procedure helps to prevent events where the stomach flips (called GDV or bloat) which can be fatal if not corrected surgically. Our doctors recommend this procedure to all large breed / deep chested dog breeds.
