Update on Mya!

Pathology came back Squamous Cell Carcinoma. So the tumor on that digit was cancerous!
But the good news is, it’s very slow growing, more localized, very low chance of returning, and he go excellent margins! No further treatment!
Thank you Dr Shaw at Choice Veterinary Services and staff for the excellent care given!
She is still getting daily dressing changes as it’s not completely healed yet, but healing up to this point Dr Shaw is very happy with and says our girl will be back to herself in no time!

Please say a prayer for our Mya today and Dr performing the surgery to amputate her right back toe.

She had an occasional limp for about 4-5weeks now and thought it was a bee stinger (as all of our Golden’s seem to think the bees are their friends and want to play with them when they are pollinating the flowers🤦🏻‍♀️😂) but after thoroughly examining we believed she stubbed her toe and the nail was falling off. So we took her into the vet and after his examination and X-ray, she was found to have a bone tumor!!😥

Please pray for my girl, she turns 11 on New Years Eve, pray that surgery goes well and that the tumor is benign! 🙏🏼🩷🐾
