What a difference a month of good food and care makes ♥♥♥
Oreo is doing great 👏 but poor Cadbury has some medical issues that will need more care than the city can provide.
CARE - Compassionate Animal Rescue Efforts ( carerescueok.org ) is going to take both puppies 🎉 and they need a ride to Woodland West Animal Hospital Monday afternoon!!

I'm Sadie!! In my short life of just 1 year, I've bounced around to a few different homes! At first, that was OK because I'm a bouncy kinda girl!! But I'm getting a lil tired of having to get to know new people all the time, and never knowing whether or not there will be enough food and/or attention left for me at the end of the day!! I'm pretty sure someone out there needs me just as much as I need them!! I'm a super happy girl, I love to play, I keep my kennel VERY clean, I'm smart, and I listen really well!!

🚨🚨These dogs are at the highest risk at the Rockin’ G shelter. 🚨🚨 In an effort to secure them into a forever home, adoption fees for these 8 dogs have been waived. All dogs will be spayed/neutered, have a rabies vaccine and currrent age appropriate vaccinations before they go home.

Our dog kennels are still over capacity at the shelter. The snow last week didn’t help any, but we haven’t had any adoptions since last Monday. We really need to get some dogs adopted, fostered or out to rescues before we’re forced to euthanize some. Which none of the officers, workers or volunteers want to happen, but when we’re over capacity and dogs keep coming in, that’s what will happen. If you’re thinking about adopting or fostering please come out to the shelter and visit our dogs. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE share this post so more can see the wonderful dogs we have available!! 🐾❤️

Many of our dogs have been with us so long that we've reduced their Adoption Fee by half ($42.50)
The Shelter animals are available to meet Mon-Fri from 1 to 4:30, and by appt on Sat from 10 to 1.

BUSTER wants all the Shelter Dogs to run free, just like him after he was adopted!! (Buster's the one in front) We started with 16, five have been adopted so we have 11 more dog adoptions available for just 💲2️⃣5️⃣, courtesy of our good friend, BUSTER!! The Adoption Fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, spay or neuter, and rabies vaccination at the time of surgery. Shelter Visiting Hours are Mon-Fri from 1 to 4:30, and by appt on Sat.

This is an anniversary that we don’t like to have at the shelter. Ray has been here for 1 year today. He’s 6 years old and the bestest boy. He gets along with most other dogs.

WE ARE FULL!!! 🐾🐾 Reminder… We are having a $25 / 25 Days of Christmas 🎄 Adoption Event. They will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and dewormed. Please help if you can.

Pip and Rocket

Pip and Rocket (grey tabby hiding under the chair and ready to bolt) have both been at the shelter for close to 2 1/2 years. Rocket can be petted a little, but he would rather stay to himself. Pip takes a little bit to get to know new people, but likes some pets after he knows you. If you need a mouser and would like to give these boys a chance or want a house cat that isn’t super loving you can visit them Monday - Friday 1:00-4:30 or by appointment on Saturdays from 10:00-1:00.

Some of our Rockin’ G pups got to work on their artwork today that will be available next Saturday at our Spring Adoption Fling! Some of our cats will have artwork too, but we didn’t get pictures of them. Have you ever tried letting a cat paint?!? 🤣 We hope to see you on May 4th. Come out and support our shelter and our local vendors that will be here also!!
