Hidden Hills Ranch is a non-profit organization providing kids and families with innovative hands-on opportunities for discovery, fun and education.

Hidden Hills Ranch is a nonprofit educational rescue ranch in Prunedale, CA offering outdoor classes, pony & horse riding lessons, seasonal camps, and animal-assisted, inclusive experiences. Classes, day camps, and events are offered incorporating ranch animals, hiking trails, amphitheater, horseback riding arenas, campfire area and pond. We strongly believe in the importance of education for our youth and families. We strive to make learning fun while teaching respect for others, animals, and the environment. We have activities planned throughout the year. We are also available for class/organization field trips, and birthday parties. All cash donations and in-kind donations of professional services or physical items are tax deductible. The tax id # is 770461327. 📏 Enrichment Class Spotlight: Math at the Ranch!

Who says math has to stay in the classroom? 🤠

In Ms. Judy’s - Math at the Ranch A class, our 2nd and 3rd graders are taking math outdoors!

Through hands-on activities, games, and problem-solving, students get to practice their math skills in fun and creative ways.

These photos show our students putting their math skills to work right in the corral! We love seeing them work together, think through challenges, and learn while having fun.

⚾ Who knew you could make your own baseball from scratch?

That’s exactly what our students did in Mr. Neil’s Wednesday Knotty Hide Leatherworks class.

In this hands-on class, students learn traditional leatherworking skills such as cutting, stamping, dyeing, knot tying, and hand-stitching while creating projects they can take home.

Recently, students made their own leather baseballs using leather, twine, and rice for filling. They also created personalized leather keychains!

A big thank you to Mr. Neil for sharing his passion for leatherworking and teaching our students skills they can continue to build on!

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming some of our wonderful animal sponsors who traveled from out of town to visit the animals they sponsor! We love seeing these special friendships grow and watching our sponsors become part of our ranch family.

Every animal at Hidden Hills Ranch has a rescue story, and each one is available for sponsorship. Our sponsors play such a special role in helping us provide the love and care these animals deserve.

We would love to welcome more sponsors into our ranch family, especially for Dolly and Arrow, who need a little extra care and attention.

🪿A Sweet Reunion at Hidden Hills Ranch!

Some stories are just too special not to share!

Meet Jekyll! After being rescued and nursed back to health, he needed a new home. We weren’t sure how he would get along with Rachel and her babies, but it turned out to be the perfect match!

Recently, Jekyll had a special visit from the woman who rescued and cared for him years ago. As soon as he saw her, he came right over, with Rachel following close behind to say hello!

What a sweet reminder of the special bonds animals form with those who care for them. We love a happy ending, especially one like this! ❤️

🐾 Adventures with Pete the cat! 🐈

If you’ve been to Hidden Hills Ranch, chances are you’ve met Pete! He’s always in everyone’s business, photobombing pictures, sneaking into vehicles, hunting, or looking for someone to cuddle with. He’s even brought us a snake in his mouth! 🐍

Well, today Pete added another adventure to his list! Somehow, he managed to sneak into the dryer and took a few spins. 😳 Thankfully, he’s doing okay!

We’re not sure how many of his nine lives he’s used up, but we’re really hoping this cat came with a warranty because nine lives just won’t be enough!

We sure do love this crazy cat!
