Since we have gotten so many new followers and new engagers I wanted to reintroduce myself.

I’m Kelli -I am the face behind Feathered Knechtions (pronounced connections). My family and I pursued more backyard self sufficiency during covid which is when we discovered coturnix quail. We have tried many things -rabbits, bees, Muscovy (quackless) ducks, button quail, coturnix quail and chickens but coturnix quail are our favorite.

I spend a lot of time educating via social media and in person all about ways to be more self sufficient in the city but mainly with coturnix quail cuz they are the favorites around here. I also craft a lot and crochet is one of my favorite hobbies so you’ll find all that info here too.
