For Eastham Dog Owners Association (EDOA) members, EDOA is offering FREE vaccines for dogs currently licensed in Eastham & due for their rabies vaccine. Town of Eastham staff will also be available to assist with dog licensing.

Hello clients and friends!

As of December 18th the Herring Cove Veterinary Hospital will be closing permanently. We will continue to provide care for you and your pets at the Herring Cove Veterinary Hospital until then.

Dr. Larned and her team will be joining our other location at the Eastham Veterinary Hospital located at 725 State Highway, Eastham Ma.

Our new location offers a larger lobby, additional exam rooms, increased treatment space and more veterinary assistants and doctors so we can provide the best possible care for your pets.

Our Eastham Veterinary Hospital will be hosting a rabies and microchip clinic on Saturday, April 23rd from 10:00am - 12:00pm. $15 per rabies vaccine, $20 per microchip. No appointment required. Please bring a copy of your pet's current rabies information for a 3 year vaccine, otherwise it will be a one year vaccine.
Location will be determined by April 1st.

March is Pet Poison Prevention Awareness Month!
How many animal poisons can you name? Toxins can be present in almost every environment that our pets come in contact with. It’s up to us to be vigilant owners and prevent contact with, or consumption of harmful substances. Take the first step toward safety and familiarize yourself with common household toxins. Some of our favorite references include the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center found at https://www.aspca.org/apcc, or the pet poison helpline at https://www.petpoisonhelpline.com/. If you suspect that your pet has come in contact with a toxin, seek veterinary advice immediately.
In 2020 the ASPCA ranked the top 10 most common toxins they encountered via their poison control center.

We are very excited to welcome Dr. Lela Larned to Herring Cove Animal Hospital!! Dr. Larned will begin to see clients on Tuesday, February 1st. The hospital will return to in person appointments on this date as well for our clients to come in and be involved with their pets visits and care. Dr. Larned is looking forward to meeting all of you!
