We specialize in small animal veterinary medicine. Our Veterinarians are Dr. Andy Foster, Dr. Mitch Foster, and Dr. Josh Foster. Our office hours are Monday-Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturday 8am-12pm. Please Call Us For An Appointment

We greatly appreciate your trust in us to provide care for your pet. We also understand that accidents and emergencies do occur and we want to make every effort to be

available to assist you during those times. Unfortunately, some accidents do not always happen during regular business hours. Our doctors will provide emergency care for our active and established clients. Please try to contact our doctor's in the event of an emergency but if they cannot be reached then we do recommend contacting one of these close by facilities. Carolina Veterinary Specialist is located in Greensboro, NC at 502 Nicholas Road. The telephone number is (336)632-0415. Carolina Veterinary Specialist is a fully staffed 24/7 Hospital. Reidsville Veterinary Hospital is also an option for some after-hour emergency situations. They are open until 12 Midnight and are located at 3202 Barnes Street in Reidsville, NC. This week is Veterinary Receptionist Week. A special time dedicated to honoring the hardworking, compassionate, and often unsung heroes at the front lines of every veterinary hospital…our receptionist! 🐾💙

We’re beyond proud to celebrate our very own superstar, Autumn, who has been the heart and soul of our front desk for an incredible 27 years!

Autumn is the friendly face that welcomes you to our clinic as our Head Receptionist. A Pittsylvania County native, her love for animals started early and led her to a part-time assistant job in high school. A role that quickly turned into a lifelong calling in veterinary care. ❤️

She’s not only a seasoned professional but also a loving “fur mama” to Sully (a sweet pitbull mix) and Rocket (a spunky yellow tabby cat).

Autumn truly believes that exceptional pet care starts with outstanding customer service, and she lives that out every single day by making sure every client feels welcomed and cared for.

Whether she’s managing busy phones, answering questions, comforting pet parents, or just brightening someone’s day with her smile, Autumn does it all with warmth, grace, and an incredible amount of heart. 💕

Outside of work, she enjoys crafting wreaths and spending quality time with her family. Both are hobbies that reflect her creative and nurturing spirit.

Say hello to the heart behind our practice…Dr. Joshua Foster, our dedicated and compassionate owner! 💙

Dr. Foster officially took the reins of our clinic in January 2023, and since then, he’s been leading our team with heart, drive, and a deep love for animals.

Before returning to his hometown in 2020 to practice at his family’s clinic, Dr. Foster gained valuable experience working at veterinary hospitals all across the state learning, growing, and bringing all that knowledge back home. 🏡✨

When he’s not caring for your pets, he’s hanging out with his amazing wife, Lindsey, their beautiful baby girl Parker and adorable crew of six pets:

!ATTENTION! Our office is usually booked out with scheduled dental cleanings for several weeks but we have recently had a couple openings become available for this week. We have moved patients around that were already on the schedule around but we still have a couple spots that we have not filled yet so we are opening this rare opportunity up to all of you but this will be on a first come, first serve basis so if you are available and you would like us to clean your pet's teeth this Thursday, April 10th then please give us a call at 336-388-2021. It may be springtime, but here in NC, we get hit with early summer days.

Summer’s great for beach days and BBQs, but your pets? They’d rather chill in the shade with a cold drink (or at least a full water bowl 🥤). Here’s how to keep them comfy when the temps climb:

🌊 Unlimited fresh water
🧊 Cool mats or fans = instant pet spa
🚫 No hot pavement walks at noon
🚗 Never ever leave them in a parked car (not even for a “quick sec”!)
