Tweens and teens are invited to the library for a paws-itively uplifting afternoon filled with therapy dogs, tasty treats, and community kindness. Bring donations (pet food, treats, toys) for a local animal shelter and volunteer by helping assemble treat bags and completing small service projects that support pets in need. It’s a chance to unwind, give back, and find your wild, one wag at a time.

*We’ll be accepting donations for the Collin County Animal Shelter August 13–24. Bring pet food, treats, toys, and more to the library foyer during open hours!

Today is the day!

After months of planning, late nights, dreaming big, and believing that North Texas deserves something different, our Kickstarter is officially LIVE!

Pups, Pints, and Play isn’t just another dog park.

It’s a vision for a clean, climate-controlled indoor dog park and social lounge where dogs can play year-round while their owners relax, connect with friends, work remotely, enjoy a coffee, or unwind with a local craft beer.

And we’re not even to the hottest part of the season yet.

These two have been supervising the process from their executive recliners and have informed me we are finally ready. 🐶🍻

Pups, Pints & Play is getting closer every single day, and we’re now aiming for launch in the next day or two. This dream started with a simple idea: create a space where dogs and humans can both relax, connect, and actually enjoy time together, no matter the weather.

From 11 puppies… to finally her time. 🐾

After fostering Matcha and her magnificent 11, we knew the transition to a quieter home might come with a little anxiety. So we’ve been testing out ways to help her settle in and decompress.

Enter this cozy setup from Pelsbarn… and honestly, it’s been a win.

Is it magic? No.
But giving her a soft, consistent place to land, relax, and just be a dog again… that’s made a difference.

The calming blanket + cooling mats have become her go-to spot. And if you scroll, you’ll see… she’s choosing it on her own. That’s what matters.

Sometimes it’s not about overcomplicating things.
It’s about creating a space where they feel safe.

And that’s exactly the kind of environment we’re building with Pups, Pints & Play. 🐶🍻
