Due to recent staffing changes, Cleary Lake Veterinary Hospital will have new Small Animal hospital hours this summer effective June 1st. Our hospital will be open for appointments from 8am to 9pm on Monday, 8am to 6pm Tuesday through Friday, and 8am to 1pm every other Saturday. On the Saturdays where we are not seeing appointments, we will remain open to answer phone calls, fill medications, and provide technician appointments (blood draws, nail trims, etc.)

We would like to take this time to thank our valued clients for their understanding as we make this transition. As always, our hospital will strive to continue providing our patients with the highest quality care.

We hope you are able to enjoy the gorgeous weather we’ve had recently. With the summer like temperatures we’re seeing a rise in gnat bites. This is a picture of a dog who experienced these bites. They are usually not itchy or bothersome, and go away on their own in 24-48 hours. As always if you have questions about your pet please don’t hesitate to call.

🐴 Our sweet little fluffy rescue girl is all vaccinated, Coggins pulled, examined, given a clean bill of health, and also microchipped!! Huge thanks to our incredible friends at Cleary Lake Veterinary Hospital for making this SO easy on her. She's one step closer to starting her search for HER family!! 🙌 👉 So far, we've raised $255 towards our goal of $700 to cover costs of hauling and vet care, which is an INCREDIBLE start!! We cannot thank you enough for all your love and support! These donations help us keep our adoption fees reasonable and support other ongoing rescue efforts, and ther are NO words to express our gratitude!! 🙏 🐎 GRG Ranch Horse Rescue and Sanctuary is a MN Nonprofit (501c-3 pending). Looking forward to the equine nutritional solutions at Cleary Lake Veterinary Hospital on December 15th. Tonight was a very educational and entertaining.
Just wanted to thank Dr. Selvig and the staff at CLVH for taking such great care of my two girls, Allegra and Carney. Because of the great chiropractic treatment provided by Dr. Selvig Carney has qualified for the 2021 North American Diving Dogs National Showcase in Springfield, MO. Wish us luck this weekend!
Just wanted to thank Dr. Selvig for all her work on my girl Carney! She injured her tail several weeks ago and Dr. Selvig has not only helped her recover, she has also helped her performance in dock diving. She's now jumping over 23 feet and is only a few inches from jumping at the elite level. The jumping and racing season has just started so I am so excited to see what she can do next. THANK YOU AGAIN DR. SELVIG!!
Thanks for helping me take such good care of Scoot, so he is able to assist me. This was taken after I had a panic attack & Scoot got to work. This is how he cares for both of us when it's over. 💞💞 Thank you to all the staff. 🌸🌸
Town Hall is now preparing Welcome Kits for new families that are moving into our community. Our Welcome Kits feature and direct these new families to a small number of local businesses for the goods, services & professionals that they need to find. Since our Welcome Kits are exclusive, and we can only accommodate one Veterinarian, I would ask you to kindly let me know if you are interested in being the featured Veterinarian in our local Welcome Kits. It is worthy to note that, according to Dr. Cathy Goodwin in her book “Making the Big Move”, 55% of new residents and families seek out a new Veterinarian shortly after their relocation. As such, more than one-half of our Welcome Kit recipients are actively looking for a new Vet. I would like to schedule a time when you are expecting me so that I may drop off a sample of our "Welcome Kit" and explain the program in greater detail. Please reply to this message with your availability or call me at your earliest convenience. For a faster response, or if you prefer, feel free to call or text me on my cell which is listed in my signature. Thanks. Michael Martin (612) 214-9900
I don't know quite how to thank Cleary Lake Veterinary Hospital for their kindness. They had never even met me before, yet they treated me with nothing less than total dignity and compassion on one of the hardest days of my life when I had to say good-bye to my 17 year old companion cat Misty. Then 3 days later, when I was still very much grieving her loss, I received from them a very nicely worded sympathy card with an enclosure of her paw prints. This was such a thoughtful gesture, even tho' it induced a few more tears. (See my timeline for a couple of photos)
Our thanks to the Cleary Lake staff for all the wonderful care they gave our Maverick over the past 11 yrs. We are forever grateful for the compassion you showed us yesterday when it was her time to go. Here's a link to a final photo montage of Maverick and my expression of gratitude to you in the comments section. Special thanks to our beloved vets Dr. Tate, Dr. Casper, and Dr. Abrams for all the compassion over the years with Maverick, especially Dr. Tate as he carried us through to the end of her years. And Christine, Karen and Jennifer for their endless caring and concern. And the front desk staff Tammy, Patty, Michelle, Jess for their understanding and care when taking our tearful phone calls to find time to bring Maverick in again. These caring and compassionate veterinarian professionals exemplify the best of the best!!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!! https://www.facebook.com/kasten.mitch
