The temps dipped into the 40’s overnight. This calls for a slow roast. I love pot roast on a cold day. Just layering flavors. I didn’t have the ingredients for a boeuf bourguignon. Just a few more hours and it’ll be done.

This man has captivated me since my early teens. Watching him in the ring with that dog mentality and skill to make it hurt was a huge event in our household. My dad loves boxing, as do I. We would order every Oscar De La Hoya fight. In my later teens we would all pitch in for PPV and order the Mike Tyson fight. Most of us knowing the actual contest could be over in 19 seconds
That thought never brought any doubt in our minds that we wanted to see do his work. Please, Mike! For the love of all things holy. Knock his a$$ out.

This was 🔥!” The broth had a depth of flavor of chile de arbol, and ancho peppers. The birria was perfectly braised beef in that amazing broth of chile colorado. My only critique, and it’s minor, is that the ramen noodles were the kind that come in .50 packs. But that said, it was damn near perfect. The fried egg was just a beautiful surprise.
