Mercy's mom bought her some kitty grass.🌿 Mercy wasn't a fan 😹 - which is her right as a cat. 😻 So Mercy's mom brought the cat grass to Carnegie to see if Alex, Finnley or Chunk would enjoy it. Turns out Finnley loves everything about it - from nibbling on it to sleeping next to it.

So Finnley, and all the rest of us, would like to thank both Mercy and her mom!😊

This is Millie! 💗🎀💗

Millie is 11 years old and is one of our favorite boarders. We love her confident stance and eagerness to engage. We've known Millie for about 7 years and she has been an exemplary boarder from the very beginning. She's friendly, she's tidy, she eats well, she never hisses at other cats - she's an absolute dream.🥰 We love her visits and are already missing her.💗

We're spoiling you with two such gorgeous cats two days in a row but what the heck. You're great and deserving AND it's FRIDAY!🥳

Meet YAZ!🌟🎉🌟 Yaz just turned 6 years old recently and she's just as pretty as can be. For those of you with sharp eyes, look at her impressive whiskers and fluffy chest. Yaz came in recently for a nail trim with technician Barb. She was an angel for the procedure and didn't protest at all. We heard that Yaz's brother Pesky was also supposed to get his nails trimmed at the same time but he didn't feel like going to the vet that day.😆

Yaz's mom has some fun facts about her pretty girl:

"- Yazzie loves to go upstairs on her own to get her zoomies out… we all know where she is, though, because she sounds like a herd of cattle running around!

- Her favorite season is springtime because she loves to hunt down and torture unfortunate spider crickets that get in the house." The thought of Yazzie doing her zoomies upstairs and sounding like a herd of cattle cracks us up!😂

We have perhaps the most exciting post ever... but it's going to require a little effort on your part since your friendly social media coordinator couldn't figure out how to post a video.

Meet Marlene Dietrich. She's 14 years old and she was a superstar even before we featured her today!🌟✨⚡️ You see, when Marlene was a kitten, she was in a Fancy Feast commercial! Dr. Jones shared that exciting news with us and mentioned that Marlene is just as adorable now as she was in the commercial.

We don't even know where to start with Boots!!🖤🤍🖤

Boots is a new friend and we are so completely impressed by him. He's 11 (but will turn 12 of the 28th of this month!🎉), he has world-class whiskers and he's super confident! He just barely met the photographer and do you see that happy tail standing up in the background! We opened his cage door and he came right up to greet us!🥰

We could go on and on and on but let's give his dad a turn to talk about Boots. "He is such a sweet boy and we love that he was able to make some friends while boarding. He is a diabetic cat and we monitor his food, but we always attribute it to his sweet heart. He loves exploring boxes and bags whenever we come home from the store. His favorite movie is Disney’s Brother Bear (he sits and watches the screen anytime it is on). He also likes to sing along when we sing in the shower. He loves being held when we come home from being out so he can smell our breath and see if we got food without him."

Boots is absolutely perfect and we fully buy the idea that his diabetes was caused by his sweet heart.❤

Today is World Pet Memorial Day.💕🐾🌈

This day of observance was created as a special day to memorialize beloved pets that have passed away. It is observed every year on the second Tuesday in June, and it is a great time to celebrate the lives of our pets. As every one of you knows, the hardest part about loving a pet is saying goodbye. We try to keep our social media platforms light and educational but sometimes we simply have to recognize the reality that all of us have experienced or will experience.

This year, we finally have a beautiful way for you to memorialize your pet! A friend of ours is an artist and she has started doing pet portraits. We know first hand how beautiful and high-quality her work is.
