No it's not a dog bite.

I'd like to thank all my clients this week that have rescheduled their appointments to next week due to my yard work accident I had last Sunday where the new hedge clipper I bought had a cheap plastic safety guard that just snapped on. While clipping an over grown hedge, a branch knocked the safety guard off and I did not notice it. While stopping I brought the clipper down and my left hand was to close and the safety guard was no longer there and it hit my left index finger. Luckily It did not damage and muscles, nerves or tendons. It just tore up the skin pretty good. I ended up getting 20 stitches and have had it fully wrapped since Sunday 12pm. I think it's healed good enough to where I can remove enough of the thickness of the bandage to fit a rubber glove over it so I can start grooming again and give the doggys a bath without getting my finger wet. I'll be starting back up grooming again tomorrow Friday.

Once again that's everyone for being supportive and working with me to reschedule some appointments.

NOTE. Careful with these new cheap yard power tools they make these days where everything is made out of plastic. Since the safety guard is plastic I have super glued the guard to the actual clipper so in the future it can not be knocked off again from just a small branch touching it. I'm going in and looking at all safety guards on all my power years tools and making sure this can't happen on them either. I found that the safety garage on my chainsaw was also just cheap plastic that just snapped on. I have also used high strength super glue to permanently attach that guard also.

The more I think about it and look at thise huge blades on my clipper the more I realize just how lucky I am that I did not loose my whole finger.

So incredibly impressed by deluxe doggy cuts robert! Look how amazing Moose Willis looks. And so soft and smells so good. I was expecting a *whatever you can get done* cut today, but he came in looking better than I could of imagined. You truly are an expert at what you do sir! You've gained a customer for life !
