THROWN FROM A CAR! This little one was rescued by a couple good samaritans and brought to the shelter where she was immediately taken to the vet. Lacerations on the ear, face and a broken leg. She will be well taken care of & loved at the shelter. Hopefully her leg can be saved. Time will tell. This just reminds us why we do this every day.😢

🎉🎈🎉🎈CAREGIVER SPOTLIGHT🎈🎉🎈🎉
Meet Audrey a caregiver for three years working with cats and smaller dogs. She is also busy learning about giving medications. Seven pets share her family’s home-a golden retriever, four cats, and two guinea pigs! She’s holding an adorable gray and white fella who is ready to get a good home. He can be a little aloof but is very loving and gets along well with other cats. He wants to share his love.

This is our adorable Henry! He came to us through transport, horrible infected mouth, growths on his face and around his eyes and not a young boy. The first picture is just after his arrival. The next picture is with Brenna, a volunteer who comes every week and brushes Henry and hangs out with him. The next two pictures are of Henry showing how medical attention, love and attention overall, plus good nutrition and care can change an animal. He’s now loving his life thanks to Friends of Strays!

See you all Friday!
Tobie is relaxing after enjoying the spring weather outside🧡
On Valentine's Day no less my heart is broken. 💔 Mokey (Jiffy) has been with me since December 5, 2008. She was a fluffy little fireball of s***k. Tomorrow February 15, 2021 she will go to the rainbow 🌈 bridge. She's been with me thru divorce, living alone, the tornado, moving 3 times and now to her final journey. She just barley missed her 13th birthday. She is ready. She's at the point of night eating the prescription food and the medications aren't working. She has started today seaming to be in pain. Good night baby girl, momma loves you. Layla, Bear, Bella and Baby will all be waiting and you all will be back together. NO one can replace you and thank you #friendsofstrays

Wondering if anyone is missing this guy. Blue eyes beautiful cat. Leery but not scared. Been eating the food i put out for strays about a month now. Mark , Illinois
Norman became fast friends with his big brother Gibson. Really enjoying walks in the woods but not sure about the cows yet! Been a pleasure adding him to my family. Thanks for the work that you guys do!
Spotted in Princeton on 1355 North Ave, between Searls Ridge cemetery and the I-180 overpass: large white dog, longer haired, great pyrenese or pyrenese mix. Dark collar. Seemed unsure of surroundings. Unable to get close, or get a pic.
Just posting to let you know Mickey is settling in just fine. He is a joy and a hoot to have in our family. Thank you so much.
A kitty has appeared on our farm. Extremely friendly and you can tell he is used to being in a home.
Found this little boy. Extremely sweet and very clean. Obviously used to being in a home.
