Attended the Missouri taxidermy show this past weekend and had a great time getting some great critiques and gaining more knowledge. I was fortunate enough to get my first blue on a game head/deer, which was a goal I had but didn’t really expect it being there was some high class pieces, and also winning the competitors award in the professional division. The ammount of talent at this show was truly incredible to see and appreciate!

Pretty cool way to show off some almost 2” spurs on a north Missouri eastern, I may never see them this big on one again...

Just finished up the last turkeys brought in from last year. Definitely a good feeling lol. This is also a reminder to people seeing this post that I’m currently not taking anymore turkey in this year…Huge shout out to my awesome buddy Caleb Roseburrough for coming up and knocking these last ones out with me!

Made some time to put a piece together this year that did pretty well at the two shows i was fortunate enough to make it too. In Iowa it received a blue ribon, best of category, presidents choice, safari international, and the Matuska competitors awards all in the professional division. Wisconsin it received a blue, best of category, and NWTF awards in the professional division as well. Wisconsin’s show was a very strong show and had a lot incredible pieces across the board with some even better people in the association I’ve gotten to know over the years. Good luck to everyone else this seaon in the woods.
