Come see us at the pet fair at the Center on Rosser today and tomorrow! 🐾

The Candid Canine crew will be there with us all weekend, including adoptable training dog Toby! ❤️ If you’ve been wanting to meet the team, say hi to the pups, or learn more about what we do, come stop by and see us. We’re excited to be part of such a fun event for the local dog community and can’t wait to see familiar faces and meet some new ones too!

Toby has come a long ways, this is just a snippet of his growth. When he came to me at he was super flighty, when he could flight he would freeze (flatten) not anymore he is blossoming into a dog, Toby is full of s***k! He loves to play with other dogs. He is crate trained, potty trained, walks loosely on a walk, has basic obedience. He is a GREAT size only 39 pounds. He is available for adoption and comes with continued training. Teaching a solid “place” command is one of the best things you can do for a young dog like Blue at 5 months old.

It gives them a clear job, helps build impulse control, and creates calm in situations where they might otherwise feel overwhelmed or excited. Whether it’s guests at the door, mealtime, or just settling in the house, “place” teaches them how to relax with purpose.

For puppies, structure = confidence. And confidence creates a dog that can thrive in the real world. 💙

Toby was out and about on the town today, he went to a local car show, worked on greeting people, while also being exposed to car noises as sometimes they can be scary, with proper guidance he settled in nicely. He is available for adoption and would come with lessons so we can make sure he has the best possible outcome. Toby is 35 pounds, he is full of s***k and loves kids and other dogs. Shoutout to all of our purebred clients, we’re loving getting to show you guys off today. There’s something really special about the intention behind a well-bred dog. Purpose, structure, temperament, and generations of thoughtful work coming together in one incredible animal.

And to the ethical breeders doing it right, preserving health, honoring breed history, and protecting what makes each breed so unique… we appreciate you 👏

We love our purebreds just as much as our rescues. Good dogs are good dogs, period 🤍
