Missing cat in Towerville, Wi!

Jayden has been missing since Aug 5th from Towerville W. He is a 5yr old fixed male that is white with orange patches and weighs around 15 pounds. He has an extra toe on every paw.

Meet Stormy!

Stormy is a spunky young adult white and tan Pomeranian mix with a whole lot of personality packed into a petite 14-pound frame. He loves to be around people, go for walks and play with toys. He is very curious about the world around him, and he loves to explore new things. Despite Stormy's outgoing personality he would do best in an adult only home where he can be the star of the show and your one and only dog. Stormy has an energetic and mischievous spirit and is always up for adventure with the right human companion! When Stormy first came into the shelter his undercoat was very matted and even though our volunteers tried their best to brush him out it ended up that he needed to be shaved and start fresh. He does really well for grooming so we hope that in his new home his coat can be maintained so that he can be fluffy again some day!

Our Dog Swim is a week away! Make sure to get your registration forms filled out and proof of vaccinations from your vet!

This year our dog swim will be on Sunday, August 30th from 11am - 3pm at the Monona Family Aquatic Park located at 601 W. Davis St., Monona, IA.
Admission into the event is $15 for 1st dog with additional dogs in the same family $10 each. Dogs that are RABAS Alumni are $10. Rivers and Bluffs volunteers will have lunch available which can be purchased for a nominal fee.

Paper registration forms will be available at the shelter if needed and can also be filled out the day of the event. If you are able to print and fill it out ahead of time registration will be quicker and your dogs can get in the water faster.

Meet Tripp!

Tripp is a 4 - 5 month old kitten that came to our shelter as a stray and needing a soft place to land. He an absolute ham and LOVES attention! Tripp will meow, chirp, and roll around till someone stops to say hello and pet him. Like most kittens his age he is playful, curious, and likes to explore. Tripp is just one of those kittens you have to meet and it will be love at first sight!

Meet the Peanuts Kittens!

These five adorable kittens are looking for their forever homes! These sweet babies are named after some beloved Peanuts characters: Lucy (longhair, brown and white with black nose), Linus (shorthair, brown and white with pink nose), Marcie (shorthair, brown and white with brown nose), Franklin (longhair, brown and white with brown nose), and Charlie (longhair, all brown tiger)

This precious crew is growing fast and would love families of their own. They are bit skittish yet, and new to being handled but they are learning quickly that we are friends and being pet and played with is okay. Linus and Charlie are the most outgoing currently but the others are coming around day by day. In a home with some one on one time we know they will make great companions!

Howard is still missing! Originally went missing June 24th.

He was last seen running into a cornfield behind the LaPrairie Retirement Village on County K. He is a former outdoor cat but has been indoors for 3 years. He does have a limp on his back left leg and he may be skittish with unknown people.
