• Rides walk/trot/lope
• Naturally more go than whoa, but has a sharp, dependable stop
• Moves out freely with a forward, athletic stride
• Enjoys learning and stays engaged in his work

🌲 Trail & Obstacle Experience:
• Confident alone or with other horses on the trail
• Crosses bridges, goes through tarp archways, goes over logs
• Has an adorable jump and seems to really enjoy it

🌟Ground Manners:
• Picks up all four feet
• Stands great for the farrier
• Stands tied patiently
• Easy to handle and improving every day

Smoke is the kind of pony that could go in a lot of different directions. He’s catty enough to make a handy little ranch or working pony, but he also shows real enthusiasm for the jumping world. With the right rider—someone patient, confident, and willing to continue his education—this gelding has the potential to be something special.

Smoke is a 6-year-old, 13.3hh grade gelding with a kind heart, athleticism, and grit.

Smoke came in to our program to continue his education and help him find his next person!💖 He originally was purchased at an auction, so his history is a bit unknown, but what is clear is how far he’s come.

When Smoke first arrived, he carried some trust issues and struggled to feel confident with his handler. With consistent, thoughtful training, he now checks in beautifully and seeks guidance with softness and willingness. He’s smart, sensitive, and genuinely wants to connect.

Exciting upgrades are happening at Advance Horsemanship!

It’s been in the works for a while now, but the fencing company began ripping out all the old fencing today and will start putting in all the new fencing this week!

The fencing has been our top priority to get updated since we moved in last year. We’re so excited to see our dream slowly become a reality. 🤩
