Fun fact of the day…….

Did you know that America’s only truly homegrown dog breed—the American Foxhound—originates from George Washington’s Revolutionary War camps? During the Siege of Boston in 1775–76, Washington acquired several French hounds and later crossed them with English Foxhounds at his Mount Vernon estate. The result was a stronger, quicker hound bred to match the grit and determination of America itself.
