😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 We are a bit behind on our recap and update posts! I’ll be getting those together soon, in the mean time we have an edit to our Spring show season schedule!

We have ADDED Doswell, VA May 22-24th for AKC conformation with Reva and Vex!

We are also cutting back on our weekend in Albemarle, NC and will only be attending Sunday May 31st. We will have Reva, Vex!, and Alhena for conformation, and Bonez for Weight Pull

A shorter weekend recap as we wait for professional photo’s to come back!

The Mid Atlantic Kennel Club Chesterfield, VA show treated us well!

Reva had a phenomal weekend, her and Amy have officially found their spark. Our gorgeous girl clean swept breed wins all weekend, snagged three Group 1 wins, a Group 3, and a Group 4. Last but certainly not least, Reva brought home a Best in Show win!! Our kennels first Best in Show, and no better dog to have earned it than our foundation bitch💕 this win is so incredibly special to us, there are no words for the emotions shared around the ring on Friday. Reva’s wins this weekend earned her 4.5 Emerald legs as well!

✨BIS✨ GRCH Astyanax Grand Inquisitor @ Kismet CGC TKN VHMA

Alhena had a fantastic weekend as well! Winning 4/6 champion classes, securing the last of her legs towards her grand champion. She also took one best of breed on Sunday! Holding her own in a stunning lineup of gun dogs! She has only had 4 weekends out in the classes and has finished both her CH and GRCH all by 9 months old with limited weekends out!

Nutmeg had a great day on Friday! Winning the breed both shows, and bringing home two Group 4’s in a competitive scent hound line up! She took the rest of the weekend off, and we will hopefully have exciting news to come for her👀👀

UCH Epic Quests Manifest Reality @ Kismet VHMP VHMA STR

Alhena had a fun weekend out in the champion class! There was a huge 7 dog entry for the champion class alone, we NEVER see a class that big around here so we loved to see such a turn out! Our little lady took a Champion win under judge Kristin Block for her first Grand Champion leg, and a Reserve Champion win under judge Matthew Proctor! Not too shabby for a 9 month old baby.

✨DASH✨ GRCH Astyanax Grand Inquisitor @ Kismet CGC TKN VHMA

Reva had a fun weekend in both the conformation ring and taking a stab at DASH! Reva ran three runs of DASH and had an absolute blast! Earning her DASH title and leaving her excited for more! This weekend also had a huge and competitive grand champion class line up with a total of 8 grands! Our gorgeous girl held her own beautifully in such a large lineup, managing a Reserve Grand Champion win under judge Timothy Catterson

Group 1 to the Basset Fauve de Bretagne!

This past weekend in King, NC Nutmeg stunned us with two best of breed wins, going on to then snag two Scenthound Group Ones! Thank you so much to judges Joao Machado and Matthew Proctor for seeing our girl in a lovely line up! These wins earned Nutmeg 2 Grand Champion legs!

Happy Easter everyone! Here are the shows we’re currently planning to attend the rest of this Spring!

April 17-19th- Chesterfield VA, conformation

May 1-3rd- Courtland Va, conformation and weight pull

May 29-31st- Albemarle NC, conformation and weight pull (possibly rally)

If anyone is interested in meeting some of our dogs, this would be an excellent opportunity. We’ve got some big plans coming soon, so our summer schedule may be put on pause👀

Photos are in! It’s time for our weekend recap!

Little Miss Alhena came to play! She traded best female wins with her sister on Saturday, going reserve in show one and best female in show two for 15 points. And on Sunday she took another best female win in show one, snagging her last 15 points towards her championship! We had a class change form ready to go and got her moved up for show two where she pulled a reserve champion win in an incredibly stacked lineup of dogs! Our little star showed us big things really do come in small packages!

What better way to spend the weekend stuck at home due to the snow than to run your dogs through some at home titles!

Little Miss Alhena earned her VHMP and VHMA titles this weekend

Sprout, Figment, Rory, and Bonez retested for their VHMA’s after we never submitted their paperwork a few years ago and re-earned their titles! (And this time we’ll actually submit the paperwork!😂)

Reva, Vex!, Vivienne, Tater Tot, and Nutmeg all tested for their VHMA for the first time and passed with flying colors!

The snow (rather, ice) we got here in central VA was a perfect photo op!
