Great news ! Now you have a place for you and your horse to stay 15 min. from Oakdale. Perfect for our upcoming horse trials on Aug 17th, Sept 21st & Oct 26th.
Also great for two day school at oakdale - You can use dressage ring, stadium ring and xcountry. Also just for fun try our new trails obstacle course.

Oakdale in Powhatan Va is open for schooling tommorrow sat May 17th before the horse trial on Sunday. Footing is perfect and fields are manacuree, numbers are totally visible, water jumps full and all you need to do is have fun!!!!!!

We listened to your suggestions for the horse trial this Sunday and all the numbers will be hanging off the ground.
God helped by filling the water jump, making the ground close to perfect (will be no complaints around hard footing) and giving us s nice sunny day this Sunday. Also we have already this week cut all the grass, w**d eated the jumps, and dragged the rings . Thanks to John and Wade for working so hard between showers . George needs a friend. Derby would like to move to oakdale main farm and back into work. George is at a wonderful newer Oakdale retirement facility next door to Oakdale. This pasture, double Runin, water tub heated in the winter, grain twice a day and hay. There will only be two retires or partial retires in this field. You will use of all the facilities at Oakdale at a lower rate.

Need a couple of volunteers at Oakdale's Horse Trial on Sunday March 23rd for x country judge (approx 10am to 2pm) and a steward to let competitors know where they are in order of go for dressage and what level is jumping show jumping.
Lunch is included for volunteers. Come have fun in the forecasted 60 degree sunny day.
